Mill Valley Film Festival hosted top notch movies At Middleton and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, with “A” list celebrities to boot! At Middleton is a candid film about a man and woman that fall in love, while their children are on a university tour. It was a fun and light-hearted film of love. The director Adam Rodgers is also one of the writers of the film, the other writer being Glenn German.
The lead stars are Vera Farmiga, Taissa Farmiga, and Andy Garcia. What an amusing cast to put together. Adam Rodgers and Andy Garcia attended the Mill Valley Film Festival premiere in style. Adam Rodgers was a wonderful person to meet on the red carpet in Mill Valley, California. Holding his son he talked about his film, smiling and laughing.
Next stepping out of his vehicle was Andy Garcia. He looked sharp wearing his corduroy suit and glasses. With the films he has starred in, in the past like Ocean’s 11 and The Godfather III, most would think he would not be such a kind and friendly person. But he smiled the entire time answering reporter’s questions happily.
The film The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is like one of the many Ben Stiller has been in. It is fun, inspiring, and laughing good time. Ben Stiller is the director of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, a film with an office worker that gets out on an adventure that changes his life forever. The award winning stars Shirley MacLaine, Sean Penn, Adam Scott, and Kristen Wiig make the movie come together. The film will be coming to theaters December 25, 2013. At the Mill Valley film Festival premiere of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Ben Stiller walked the red carpet with his beautiful wife actress Christine Taylor-Stiller. Many fans, reporters, and photographers lined the red carpet to get a look at the power couple going into the premiere.
Later in the evening the Mill Valley Film Festival put on a gala that was open to the public to attend. It was located at the Elks Lodge in San Rafael. There was an array of finger foods, live music, games, photo booth; an adult play ground. The guests danced into the night with the casts of the films, directors, producers, press, volunteers, and sponsors. They would all say it was a night to remember. The veteran Mill Valley’s 36th Film Festival was another magical year.
