Actor, Mike Randy is unlike anyone you'd know because while many come flying to Hollywood hoping and wishing for a paying career as an actor or model, there are others like Mike Randy who at 16 years of age, was fortunate to be scouted by the biggest Agency’s around in its time, otherwise known as IMG.

Mike Randy as Model

Before he knew it, this so called fashion contract got Mike living the luxurious dream in more ways then he could ever imagine. By age 17, he not only became the national face for Abercrombie and Fitch, but had other crème de la crème designers lining up one after one; here are some to name a few, Ralph Lauren, Nautica, Escada, DKNY, Emporio Armani.

With 8 years representation by IMG & 3 years at Wilhelmina Models, these top notch agencies booked Mike on a full 360 degree media circuit; with national billboard to commercial campaigns for Wrangler Jeans, American Eagle, Mastercard with Matthew Morrison who is currently the Star of Glee, Escada Fragrance, Free Country, Arizona Jeans to catalogue work with some of the biggest department stores in the US and Germany to being in national and international publications from GQ, l’Uomo and American Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Esquire Japan, DNR, and Shape.

And yet, while Mike Randy’s world was spinning in the glam of the international fashion circles as he jet set to trunkshows held in NYC, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, Duesseldorf, Berlin with some of the world’s most recognized photographers from Bruce Webber to Annie Leibovitz to Steven Klein, he still knew this wasn’t what made him TICK 100%.

While what made Mike TICK was the idea of being on a movie set as the lead character, he knew modeling was just a means to the next stepping stone in his career. After his weekend shoots in places like Antigua, he’d look forward to completing the 2 year Acting Conservatory Program he committed to at the Stella Adler while also finishing a degree in finance at Seton Hall University’s Stillman School of Business. Mike made a statement right then and there and that’s that THIS “All American handsome face”, not only had the ability to think finance but also fly the world modeling for some of the most prestigious designers, AND still pursue his true dream to become an “A Class Actor.”

This being said in the transition from model to actor Mike’s looks, personality, and talent got him roles in feature films like Surrogates where he played “The Hunk” and it would be moments when he’d be directly on set with Bruce Willis that confirmed why he loved the world of acting. Other completed films were the Comedy, Gentleman where he played the lead role as Dane Masterson.

So I just mentioned, Mike Randy just wrapped this rock and roll horror feature film, with a stellar crew and cast with young stars such as Britanny Curran from TV Show “Men of a Certain Age”, Kirsten Prout from Twilight who plays Mike’s girlfriend in the film. Mike plays one of the lead characters as edgy George ,the electric guitar player in the hot indie rock band who is on the verge of Stardom. Mike would agree, what got him ecstatic about George’s character is the 2 month prep time in exploring the state of mind of a “Rockstar” as he was living, breathing, and acting like one 24/7.
