On November 23, 2013 The Consul General of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Aydin Topcu, along with Director Yilmaz Erdogan & Actress Belcim Bilgin (Suzan Özsoy), played host to a Hollywood Reception in celebration of the film, Butterfly's Dream, Turkey's Official Entry for the 86th Academy Awards. The event was held at a private residence in Hancock Park from 7:00 p.m until 10:00 p.m.

The evening was magical indeed with glittering butterfly's , breathe taking ice sculptures, Turkish dancer Ziya Azazi, live entertainment by Serkan Cagri (clarinet) and Devrim Ekiz (playing the Quanun), an open bar and lots of appetizers catered by Arli's. A full course meal of authentic turkish cuisine was served before the scheduled entertainment began.

In attendance were the cast and crew from the Mamut Film acclaimed motion picture, actress Doris Roberts, Erdogan, Managing Director of BKM (film’s production company) , Zamrut Arol, Dilara Omur of BKM(here from Istanbul), Sofia Shinas, Valentina Castellani (Quinn Studios), Craig Melone and Max Musina.
