"Under the Tuscan Sun"

(Touchstone Pictures, MPAA rated PG-13 for language and sexual situations.)

Diane Lane stars as a writer/professor who divorces her philandering husband and finds a new life and love(s) in the beautiful Tuscan region of Italy.  If you didn't know the film is based on the book of the same name, in viewing it, you'd know it had to have been a book first. - Your own Italian villa with a great cast of characters to help you refurbish it … gorgeous men hanging on your every word and gesture wherever you go … getting divorced never looked so rewarding!

While the film does over-romanticize life, it focuses on the things that make life worth living - the lush, beautiful landscapes of mother nature, the human heart's capacity and need to love and to be loved and, of course, In Italy, all of that sumptuous food!

"Under the Tuscan Sun" is a well crafted, beautifully acted feast for the eyes, heart and palate from start to finish!  You'll want to put Tuscany on your list of vacation destinations - and Diane Lane has never been more luminous! - A thoroughly enjoyable time at the movies.
