The Gianfranco Ferre design team, Stefano Citron and Federico Piaggi were inspired by utter lightness that for them acts as a transformation of geometric lines into a seductive and glamorous result. This collection represents a free, sensual and clearly determined woman with a brand new image!
The Ferre line reminds us of nothing that we have seen before from the brand. There is a unique balance between material and color, volume and detail, simplicity and elegance. Whites, powder hues and nude acsents in contrast with metalic gold and silver glints produce a remarkable outcome. On the other hand, fluo pink and spice purple in accordance with old-time classically elegant black, totally stand out.
The long gowns in pencil shapes, revealing some part of the waist, either in the front or at the back side of the body, combined with the leather belts or the metal bands, provide the perfect evening attire. Adding up to this sensuality, there are low necklines, high slits and assymetric cuts. When models walk down the catwalk their motion reveals those metal inserts that are sometimes used as jewel chokers, edging on bustiers, shoulder straps or mini-tops.
The square geo-shaped bracelets of G.Ferre, totally conveying power and always worn on one hand, match perfectly the golding, fume or silverish hue of the dynamic dresses. Blade, this season’s it-bag is a briefcase-style clutch with detachable shoulder strap. It is available in crocodile, ostrich, luxurious lizard and galuchat leather. The hardware accompaning them are in gold or silver. The platform sandals combine leather and lame nappa of unique quality. The sky-high stilleto heels come in steel, which is as tough as our new free woman. A new you!
