Welcome to LA Style Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012.
All rolled into one.
We are at Vibiana for Fall/Winter 2012 Skingraft Collection. Armer shoulders, hooded silhouettes and amazing head pieces and scarfs used in a new original way designed by Rick Gradone had the audience's full attention from the beginning of the show till the end. Use of fur, and sexy leggins made this collection to stand out because of high quality of designs or the subtlety of fabrics.
Maybe Marty Mcfly was right. It might bepossible to travel into the futre. The future is now. Skingraft's Fall/Winter 2012 Collection raft's Fallushered in a new wave of futuristic yet wearavle designs. Their combination of leather and comfortable stretch-fabrics proved to be a surprising combination that catapulted this collection into fashion history.
Several of the guests who attended used words such as "futuristic" and "fariy-tale" to describe this fashion-forward line. Jonny Cota's mind was able to create something that I would consider both art and fashion. Amazing cuts, combination of fabrics, and imagination is the recipe for Skingraft.
New volumes and silhuettes work cleverly together to create a complete line both sophisticated and casual.
Following the Skingraft collection was the elegant and assymentrical Mila Fall/Winter 2012 Collection.
Greyscale tones highlighted with popping yellow invaded the guests minds. The stage was set as the models introduced the crowd to a stunning collection. The clean lines were inspired by the vibe of the 1950's and added to the flair of the clothing.
Keep your eye on the work of John Mclaughlin and Bridget Riley. I have a feeling their designs will pack a punch.
The cherry on top of the cake was the VnC Cocktails that graced the hands of the guests. The world's first health concious cocktail. That combined with the chocolate fountain made this a night to remember.
Sweet and edgy fashion.
