On February 13th designers united to support Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Love 146. Designer Lucina Lu presented for 2014 ‘Timeless’ fashion show. Designer Autumn Lin Kietponglert presented her extraordinary 2014 collection. Yossi for Kevin Shahroozi introduced the modern essential leather trouser. Designer Kristin Costa presented ‘Underbelly’.
Love 146 is an organization working towards the abolition of child trafficking and exploitation. "Slavery is still one of the darkest stories on our planet. But for us, the hope of abolition is a reality. Love146 believes in helping grow the movement of abolition while providing effective, thoughtful solutions. We believe in the power of Love and its ability to affect sustainable change. Love is the foundation of our motivation. We were founded in 2002 as Justice for Children International."
Lucina Lu's "Timeless" collection lived up to it's name. Timeless and classic, but defined artistic vision, couture, texture, and patterns. 'Timeless' collection is a refreshing, whimsical, and fashionable work of art. Autumn Lin Kietponglert, who made her mark on the world of fashion with her one-of a-kind zipper pieces, presented a flawless collection. Elegant, classic, and couture, but with an edge. Kristin Costa presented ‘Underbelly’, a collection that defines unique artistic fashion. Yossi for Kevin Shahroozi introduced a modern leather trouser. A collection that was exquisitely styled for the runway and beautifully made. A leather pant that can be worn street style casual or worn evening couture.
Hosted by actor Erik McKay Love 146 was an incredible success. House music by DJ Joe Tera, menu by Noel's Catering Kitchen, and artwork by Gylliayn. Sponsored by Elucid Fashion Magazine; guests included Amanda Badze, Designer Phil Harris, model Eva Bruno, designer Clavon Leonard, and Loraimy Rodriguez presenting ‘Mystical Wonderland’.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is a time to celebrate fashion, artists, creativity, and individuality. Love 146 was a celebration of fashion and working together to help stop child trafficking and exploitation.
