Carolina Herrera's 2012 Fall Collection Review - Elegant Prints

Carolina Herrera may be more known for her evening gowns – and there were plenty of those to be seen – but she certainly provided range with her Fall 2012 runway looks.  Structured layers and intricate prints with pops of bold colors ruled the runway.

The show began with a number of functionally luxurious navy and black day looks featuring A-line skirts and slim pants with lean sweaters and cropped jackets with fur and feather accents.  Gauzy bias-cut frocks with intricate patterns were followed by column dresses of the same.

A voluminous black strapless ball gown danced down the runway with splashes of gold. Mauve-hued gowns were cinched at the waist as well as one champagne-colored evening gown of beautiful sequins with black accents.  The voluminous ball gown finale was a gorgeous punch of blood red orange accented with a black belt.
