In honor of the 2012 Emmy Awards, Suzanne DeLaurentiis and Promethean Light Media hosted a successful gifting suite to benefit Marine Corps Veterans Association. To her surprise the VETS presented Suzanne with an award to honor her charitable work for them. Exclusive sponsors at the event had the chance to celebrate with VETS, Emmy nominees, celebrities and The Mentor Program guests on the lot at Paramount Studios. With the help of all sponsors we were able to donate VIP bags for all of the Dancing With The Stars celebrities and dance instructors on their first day of filming in the studios.
Suzanne is a previous recipient of the Oregon National Guard Commendation Medal and has supported service members and their families through philanthropy, and by raising awareness of their sacrifices through film and other outlets.
"It has always been my passion to help these brave men and women who have sacrificed so much to keep our country free. It's important that we take care of them when they come home," DeLaurentiis said.
Celebrities visiting the suite included filmmaker Steven Barber, Tony Dovolani, Frank Stallone, Brenda Epperson, Winsor Harmon, and Chase Masterson, among others. They were able to spend the day being pampered with sponsor products and services.
