Feinstein/McGuiness PR presented Kari Feinstein’s 2012 Sundance Style Lounge in honor of the2012 Sundance Film Festival. In addition to receiving complimentary services and products, guests were able to support a noteworthy organization, The Creative Coalition and their “be a STAR” campaign. be a STAR (Show Tolerance And Respect) is The Creative Coalition's national anti-bullying initiative launched in April in partnership with WWE.
The mission of be a STAR is to ensure a positive and equitable social environment for everyone regardless of age, race, religion or sexual orientation through grassroots efforts beginning with education and awareness. At Kari Feinstein’s Style Lounge, celebrities participated in a PSA photo shoot to lend their voice to this national issue.
This exclusive Style Lounge featured not only some of the hottest Sundance Celebs but some of the hottest products and services at this years Festival.
Jewelry designer Vallora Sabourin from Flying Lizard Jewelry Design was a hit. Her designs have been seen on many Hollywood Stars. Emma Roberts was so smitten by her gift of a mother of pearl Buddha necklace that she picked out and scored a Rudy necklace for her Aunt Julia.
Faux fur vests from Tracker; (whose designer used to work for Marc Jacobs), were seen gracing the back of many starlets. Leather jackets from Rudsak were easily spotted around the mountain top on both men and women. William H. Macy loved his so much he left the Style Lounge wearing it. Rumor has it that Mary J. Blige and husband smitten with Commonwealth Proper; were overheard discussing an order of custom suits and shirts. Can We Studios handed out I Pads to a lucky select few celebs.
Other vendors who were on the scene were Cape Cod Leathers, and Paul Frank who had some great winter gear which included skis, cable knit hats and their signature adorable monkey ear muffs. Footwear company Koolaburra gifted many fortunate tootsies in some of their chic bohemian designs of boots, clogs and fringe sandals. 1979 Couture a gorgeous youthful line of clothing designed by Style Lounge producer Kari Feinstein, Erica Wallengren, and Veronique Vicari.
