Wednesday Oct 3rd 2012, Fisker, Ducati and Austin Martin invited press and a selective industry crowd to review luxury items, food and drinks at the world famous Petersen Car Museum on Wilshire.
Fisker unveiled their latest model the Fisker Karma the world’s first electric luxury vehicle.
This car has an amazing 403 horsepower, with a glass solar roof that generates enough energy that can power audio and cabin ventilation as well as extend your range by up to 200 miles a year. An extended battery range allows you to drive as far and as long as you desire. The car is not only environmentally friendly on the outside it’s interior is also made by wood that’s been outsourced from wild fires, bottom of the lakes and storm debris.
On the floor press was gathering around to get a glimpse of the brand new Aston Martin Ultimate DBS.
This car is internally referred to as the “310” and has the same 6,0 liter V12 engine as you currently find in the V12 Fisker Vantage, Fisker DBS and Fisker DB9 models. Power will be 573hp, an increase of 63hp. You can expect significant weight savings thanks to lightweight construction, lower emission ratings and increased economy figures. For the first time you will also get automatic windscreen wipers and a touch screen navigation system. The price: only 230,000 euros. That’s a 100,000 more then the Fisker Karma.
If you are more into the less is more philosophy you would have enjoyed seeing the motorcycle unveiling of the Ducati Monster. With it’s slim waist and wide handle bars, the Monster family is ideal for all styles. Choose between the Ducati 696, Ducati 796 or the ultimate Ducati 1100 evo. All models perfectly mix high engine power, outstanding style, performance and comfort, bursting with Italian design.
There a lot of other luxury items on the floor: for Example the Wave jet, a propulsion surf board that can go 8 miles per hour. *
The evening seemed to get better as Tatratea served tasty and beautiful looking drinks and Alquimia started their delicious tequila sampling.
While the gentlemen were viewing the Auto jewelry collection from Strut, the ladies gathered around Diamond Veneer and Zirconmania accessories trying out Cubic Zirconia that looked so close to Diamond rings even the Pink Panther would have been fooled.
Villa La Cassinella had it’s beautiful Villas on display while dazadi.com guaranteed awsomeness with its at home delivery service for the finest recreational brands in the world.
To sum it all up a gifting suit that will defenetly not be so easily forgotten.
