GBK along with BOP & Tiger Beat, the industry’s leading teen entertainment magazines, honored the 2012 Kids’ Choice Awards Nominees and Presenters at their annual Gift Lounge held on March 29th and 30th. The event was held at the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills and also supported three charities, the American Cancer Society, Model Citizen Fund, LLC and Dream Center.
The event was filled with gifts that would put a smile on any kids face and in addition there were plenty of tasty treats on hand to make sure that even adults left satisfied. As tempting as it looked, I did not see anyone take a bite out of the Cake Press Wall created by Bread Basket Cake Company with edible logos created by Ticings®. Before taking a look at all of the companies that were on hand, attendees were able to enjoy some Kobe Beef Sliders and pair those with some fruity liquid nitrogen drinks. Watching those get prepared was almost as fun as drinking them.
The treats continued with a candy and fruit snack buffet provided by Welch’s® Fruit Snacks. So many sweet choices; Juicefulls™ Juice-filled Fruit Snacks, Sun Maid® Milk Chocolate Raisins, My M&M’S® Brand Chocolate Candies just to get you started, it was hard to pull the kids away from here. Then everyone was able to walk away with some Sabra Hummus to snack on later. Sabra provided each guest with a custom cooler bag filled with Sabra Hummus and a Sabra Grab N’ Go Snack that contains hummus and pretzels. Sabra products are all natural, gluten free and Kosher and you can also find Sabra salsa, veggie dips and guacamole.

The American Cancer Society - combines an unyielding passion with nearly a century of experience to save lives and end suffering from cancer. As a global grassroots force of more than three million volunteers, we fight for every birthday threatened by every cancer in every community. We save lives by helping people stay well by preventing cancer or detecting it early; helping people get well by being there for them during and after a cancer diagnosis; by finding cures through investment in groundbreaking discovery; and by fighting back by rallying lawmakers to pass laws to defeat cancer and by rallying communities worldwide to join the fight. As the nation’s largest non-governmental investor in cancer research, contributing about $3.4 billion, we turn what we know about cancer into what we do. As a result, about 11 million people in America who have had cancer and countless more who have avoided it will be celebrating birthdays this year.
