Grammy Style Studio 2005, The Recording Academy'S Second Annual Official Fashion Showcase, Attracts Grammy Award Nominees, Presenters, Performers And Winners

February 15, 2005: Los Angeles, CA - The second annual GRAMMY Style Studio - the official Recording Academy fashion showcase where nominees, performers, presenters and celebrities select designer clothing to wear at the GRAMMY Awards and other GRAMMY Week celebrations - doubled in size following the success of last year's inaugural event.

GRAMMY Style Studio is the only event of its kind that is created especially for the music industry's most prestigious awards show. This year's event, once again held at the legendary Ocean Way Recording studios, featured more than 20 international couturiers, contemporary US labels, jewelry designers and fashion accessory designers.

Invited VIP guests were able to browse the latest designs from Vivienne Westwood, Moschino, Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Catherine Malandrino, Baby Phat by Kimora Lee Simmons, Simmons Jewelry, Jenny Packham, Rock'n'Royal, Ted Baker London, Oakley, Jamin Puech, Henry Duarte, Hoodwink, Willow, Isabella's Soul, Stitches, Rodrigo Otazu, Georgina Goodman, Elini watches and Fendi, Michael Kors and Calvin Klein Eyewear.

GRAMMY Style Studio 2005 was officially launched on Wednesday, February 9 with the VANITY FAIR Kick-Off Party and styling appointments continued through Saturday, February 12, 2005. Artists and celebrities who attended the VANITY FAIR Kick-Off Party and/or visited GRAMMY Style Studio 2005 include: Aaron Carter, AJ McLean, Al Jarreau, Anthony Hamilton, Backstreet Boys, Black Eyed Peas, Crystal Method, Dave Koz, Diana DeGarmo, Faith Evans, Floetry, Franz Ferdinand, Hoobastank, Incubus, Jars of Clay, Jesse McCartney, Jimmy Jam, Jillian Barberi, John Burk, John Legend, John Mayer, Linkin Park, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Mario Winans, Martin Henderson, Melissa Rivers, Mia Kelly, Modest Mouse, Motorhead, Nick Carter, Nick Hexum (311), Nikka Costa, No Doubt, Ozomatli, Paula Abdul, Paulina Rubio, Radha Mitchell, Randy Jackson, The Roots, Ryan Devlin, Sarah Kelly, Slipknot, Tonex, Tyrese, Velvet Revolver and Venus Williams.

The studio was decked out with elegant modern and mid-century pieces by Emmerson Troop and Orange. Guests enjoyed an interactive experience courtesy of Sony Cierge, gourmet catering, as well as access to a full bar, provided by X-Rated Fusion Liqueur, Island Breeze by Bacardi the original lite spirit and The Little Penguin wines. Hair styling services were provided by The Parlour and Kerastase and beauty and grooming treatments were offered by Clarins.

GRAMMY Style Studio is a production of Couch Nobelius Media|PR|Events. A percentage of the proceeds from the event benefit The Recording Academy's year-round educational initiatives.
