Looking good for the Oscars starts from the inside out. Anastasia Beverly Hills has teamed up with Natura Bisse of Barcelona to offer celebs a haven where they can get a lift to their chakras, bodies, faces and style. Set in a private home in Beverly Hills, invited guests have an array of services to choose to get them 'red carpet ready.' Anastasia herself will shape their brows. Prive Salon will shape their locks. Diamonds are the theme with Natura Bisse Diamond Experience treatments, not to mention Laugh Labs' diamond polish for the smile, or Anastasia's own diamond tweezers.
Anastasia transforms the shape of faces by transforming the eyebrow line. She is deft and sure as she measures and marks the arc, waxes the errant strands, and finishes with fill and highlights. After one eyebrow, she shows you the difference, and it is a huge surprise. The ordinary eyebrow looks ratty while the Anastasia eyebrow is elegant. Once she finishes, you realize that even without makeup, you look soigne. Natura Bisse is a European luxury skin care product line that is just amazing in its immediate results, so much so that word of mouth exploded the attendance at the Diamond Oscar Spa. By early Saturday, all the spa appointments were booked solid. Corporate PR Director Elena Serra flew in from Barcelona to oversee the event. She is unabashedly proud of the quality of their product line and the company's success in developing la creme de la creme, pun intended.

The Diamond Oscar Spa included a number of treatment rooms where Natura Bisse aestheticians provided some of their signature treatments. For this event, they are highlighting their Diamond Experience, which includes the 2-hour Diamond Body Ritual, the 90-minute Diamond Frozen DNA Infusion, and the 1-hour Diamond Healing Massage and Diamond Micro-Lift.
Demand had been so great for these services, that additional staff was brought into town for the final day. The aesthetician who gave me a mini Micro-Lift facial had just arrived from Hawaii. Now, I have had facials all over the world, but I have never had such a palpable sense that her fingers were 'talking' to my skin. And the result was a lift in my face, along the jawline and around the eyes. Remarkable.

With his nurse on hand, he had the supplies to do injections of Botox on celebs anxious to smooth out lines before the cameras rolled Sunday evening. The overall event sparkled like a diamond. Anastasia's home was the perfect setting, the products offered, many of them being discovered by her and brought in from around the country and the world, were all top tier. A young designer, Cheri Hayden from Pennsylvania, was in a glow as warm as any Oscar recipient after having been contacted by Anastasia and invited to come out for the event. Apparently, Anastasia had seen one of her Backlace designs on someone, inquired about it and tracked her down to bring yet another next-new-thing to Los Angeles. http://www.thebacklace.com/
In some events of this sort, the catering is done by someone looking to make a name. After enjoying the wonderful variety of dishes, I went to seek out the company responsible because many people would love to have such wonderful food and service at their events. It turns out that Larry, the caterer, does not have a business name, card or website. He only does high-end events, and only for people he knows. You can't hire him. Unless you know Anastasia and she approves. Of you.
