2nd Annual Endless Summer Primetime Emmy Suite at Gonpachi of Beverly Hills Review

The sun and stars glittered at the 2nd Annual Endless Summer Primetime Emmy Suite - a fun, food and gift-filled event held at the renowned Gonpachi of Beverly Hills on Tuesday, September 13th.

More than 100 Emmy nominees, previous winners, presenters, industry execs and stylists came out for the lavish, invitation-only affair, produced fabulously once again by Doris Bergman and Kathy Duliakas.

Co-hosted by Oliver Sweeney, “the” couture designer of men’s footwear, and presented by Vitabath sumptuous bath and body products -- the event offered guests a dazzling array of gifts as well as a sumptuous fare of five-star fusion cuisine, created by Executive Chef Yasu Kusano.

The spirit of the day also included giving back. Guests donated school supplies, back packs and money to the “I have a Dream” Foundation®  Los Angeles (IHAD-LA) which provides academic, social and cultural enrichment services to under-served youth and their families.

Among the prominent, appreciative guests were the inimitable William Shatner and his wife, Elizabeth, Primetime Emmy nominee Dot-Marie  Jones of ‘Glee,’ movie star Eric Roberts, super-funny lady, Jackee Harry, and one of the super-hot couples from ‘Bachelor Pad,’ Vienna Girardi and Kasey Kahl.

Eric Stonestreet, Emmy Nominee for Outstanding Supporting Actor in A Comedy Series (‘Modern Family’) wanted to come to the party, but when he realized he couldn’t make it, he sent over multiple backpacks to donate to the charity!  And gorgeous Cheryl Hines (‘Suburgatory’ & ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’) dashed into the event and exclaimed, “I just came for the kids -- I don’t want anything -- I just want to help the kids.” She donated several backpacks and was gone in a flash!  It was a day filled with lots of Hollywood Heart – as well as Hollywood Hospitality!

Other celebs, Joe Montegna (‘Criminal Minds’), Judd Nelson, Kevin Farley, Lenny Jacobson (‘Nurse Jackie’), Madison Michelle, Malese Jow (‘Vampire Diaries’), Marisa Ramirez, (‘Dancing With The Stars’) Chelsie Hightower and Kyle Massey, Primetime Emmy Nominee Randee Heller, Rex Lee from ‘Entourage,’ half-pint darling Rowan Blanchard (‘SPY KIDS’), Sofia Milos, Tamala Jones (‘Castle’), Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister, Tyrone Davis, Vanessa Lengies (‘Glee’ new series regular), and Wes Ramsey (‘CSI: Miami’) were treated to all kinds of gifts and goodies from shoes to dresses, cosmetics to bath treats, and intoxicating chocolates to intoxicating liqueurs.

Here are some of our faves:

Mmmmm, talk about delicious!  We snacked on Antonia’s Nuts, and got to take home a gift cone filled with them – but beware, they don’t last long.  They are soooo good, with pecans, white, milk or dark chocolate and oh-so-easy to eat and eat and eat!

After devouring those scrumptious chocolates, the celebs will want to go for a long walk in the most comfy in-the-world soft-soled shoes by Joya, for both men and women.  This footwear is so heavenly, you’ll feel like you’re walking on clouds.  We took home the ever-so-cool Venezia black – and you’ll spot us wearing them as we work off our chocolates at the gym.

That’s so we can fit into the super-cute dresses from Single by Galina Sobolev.  She designs all kinds of hot little sheaths and some uber-sexy skirts – that stars will love, but everyone can afford.

There were lots of cool accessories, too, including Royceware, a new jewelry collection that mixes spiritual charms in with vintage pieces. We liked our necklaces so much we wore them the rest of the day.

Another unique gift was The B Bag by Lisa Berck  -- these are terrific little cases in which you can carry your phones or cosmetics, or simply use them as evening bags. They are all leather with such fantastic fabrics and textures – we LOVE them!

And if you’re going out on the town wearing boots, you can wear distinctive new tights that have a sock bottom and great patterns on top from Bootights by Leg Up.

For peeps who get hot and sticky in warm weather, why not cool down with Cool Off - The Quick Chill Icy Cold Towelettes; or of course, stop for a sip of a cool vodka drink made with Blue Angel Ultra Premium Vodka – and mix in some deliciously refreshing Hawaii’s Waialua Soda Works and Hawaiian Springs Water.

The stars are so busy all day and night – we’re sure they’ll want to go home and relax in a bath of Vitabath products.  Four sumptuous new fragrance collections of Body Wash include Spa Day, In Bloom, Fruit Fanatic and Cupcake Couture.  Imagine happily submerging into a blissfully bubbly tub that smells like a Vanilla Sugar Cupcake. Wonderful, and not fattening, either!

And when they’re soaking, everyone will love the Spongeables shower treats that soap you up – and remove cellulite at the same time.  And you don’t even need a plastic surgeon!

Among our other favorite booths surrounded by stars were: Stemulation, with a new miracle worker, Rescue Repair, for hands and body; BECCA by Rebecca Virtue, teeny weeny bikinis in the most sunny Hollywood colors; Whirl-a-Style®, creative and fun pony tail and head bands that make up-dos a snap, and Dulcenea, sexy lingerie, beautiful enough for the boudoir, watching TV, or better  still, HIM watching YOU!

The Emmy’s are always fun to watch, to see who the winners are – but at the Emmy Gifting Suites, everyone is a winner – even if they’re not celebrities. This year the 2nd Annual Endless Summer Primetime Emmy® Suite was a festive and fabulous event that provided great fun, great food, and great goodies for all.
