Reichen Lehmkuhl- model, actor and reality star

It feels bad when you know you are a good person and the media is perfectly good at exploiting people for being bad. Hands can bruise, weapons can kill and words can change your point of view.

Lady Gaga publicly admitted she drinks whiskey and smokes a lot of pot when writing. Hmmmmmmmm, I wonder  how different her talent would be under the influence of sobriety. Let me write it clear: I AM  NOT JUDGING HER! I am just wondering, because for me, keep all drugs away but I don’t mind sipping a little Vodka here, some Bacardi there and of course a whole lot of water to cleanse, so the alcohol does not pollute my talent. She also said the worst thing that artists do is get caught in a lie and she refuses to lie, that’s why I RESPECT her.

Today’s topic; celebs that are abused by the media.
No one can pay me enough to write fiction but when I taste reality my fingers start tapping.  All these other writers tell me, temptation to fabricate is so hard for them to resist.  Oh well, I don’t need to lie to impress. Now for “rumors”. There is one celeb that does not seem to be able to get away from all the rumors. He can’t go anywhere without someone pointing a finger.  Hey all you finger pointers : ). I hope you can handle me taking all ten fingers and writing about an extraordinary man, who's efforts to help make a change for the better are shadowed by people mistaking his kindness for weakness and being envious of his success. I am writing about no other then the one and only Mr. Reichen Lehmkuhl.

Life can be a winding road when you are gay. With the weight of the world that gay people often hold inside. As they walk by strangers that close their eyes to shut out their existence, some even have family members that turn their backs on them. Reichen is a man that raised his head high and flew in the sky. He learned to grow numb to the madness of living in two worlds. For a long time he left the worst unsaid but refuse to let it all dissipate, by writing an autobiography " Here's What We'll Say".

Reichen Lehmkuhl

Take your seats and prepare to fly with a former Air Force officer. His story will take you high and make you fly, like an arrow upon a sky. Buckle up readers you are reading into the private jet craft of Reichen Lehmkuhl. Put all cell phones and ipods away and read the breeze, as you go high into reading  Reichen's words blowing by.

Oops I forgot to give instruction in case of an emergency landing. Attention reading passengers, at no given moment are you allowed to unbuckle your belts and get out of your seats. In case of writinglence a.k.a. turbulence, just focus on the words. This is a short flight so there will be no beverages or food. However, when it's time to descend we will all of course land at different gates, given your reading speed. Now if you will excuse me I have to bring the pilots altitude up ; ) Hey, I always wanted to be apart of the mile high club! All seat belts must be fastened, Reichen is ready for take off... Here is a link to a song while I adjust into postion.

David
Hello Mr. don't ask don't tell. but they didn't say you can't write about it. How are you today?

Reichen
Doing well, thank you. Just busier than ever!

David
At age 16, you received and accepted an appointment to the U.S. Air Force Academy. What inspired you to join the force?

Reichen
I was inspired by my Grandmother.  She was a pilot in WWII, a W.A.S.P (Women's Air Service Pilot).

David
Before you filmed the Amazing Race Show. Did you have an interest in becoming an actor/singer?

Reichen
Yes, I've always wanted to be in some sort of public performance job.  I didn't know that reality TV was going to be this big a part of my life, but I'm going with it.  I hope to host a big TV show some day.

David
Your autobiography is being adapted into a screenplay. What can you say to motivate all the readers, to why they should go see the film and will you act in it?

Reichen
I will not act in the film.  I just want the story made.  It tells a story about what it's like to live in the military under the DADT policy which , by the way, is 100% still in effect.  Why President Obama hasn't issued a stop-loss order for discharges of LGBT people is really baffling to me. He signed the bill ending DADT, but it hasn't been implemented. There is no set timeline for the repeal of this policy. It's still as disgusting as ever.

We live in a world where sadly most people are just out for themselves. How do you react when you encounter these individuals?

Reichen
There is nothing wrong with assuring your own survival, but when you fuck over your friends to do it, then something is wrong.  I've been lied about in print by friends to get ratings on their blogs.  I've been suddenly sued by friends just to get money out of me who, just weeks earlier, were drinking in my pool at one of my private pool parties.  I've been in a relationship where he actually says he'll break up with me if I don't go on the same head drugs he's taking.  I avoid these people, forever.

David
What is the legacy you are hoping to leave behind?

Reichen
That I was an individual who remained happy despite adversity from outside my community, and, unfortunately, from inside my own community.  That I kept facing forward in my work for a better situation for LGBTQ people and didn't let the nay-sayers drag me down.

David
What are some of the biggest misconceptions people have about you?

Reichen
LOL...that I'm self-centered or arrogant.  I'm actually very open to others' ideas and still see the ugly kid I always was when I look in the mirror.

David
The presidency is the traditional aspiration of young American boys. What were your aspirations as a little boy and now as an adult, how do you feel when you reflect on your life?

Reichen
I wanted to be a household name for doing good things.  I wanted to be one of the Super Friends.  I think I'm actually developing that group around me after all this time.

David
The A-List got picked up for another season. Which cast member do you get along with the most and what have you learned about your self in the process of filming the show?

Reichen
I get along mostly with Ryan, which is a surprise to me, since I have never really been friends with anyone like him before.  In filming the show, I've learned to look at myself a little more objectively...to see what others might see.

David
What advice can you give anybody struggling with their sexuality?

Reichen
Find a safe person and a safe place to come out of the closet sooner than later.  This is your one life.  And if you get another life, you might not be so lucky to be gay again.

David
What are your last words to all the readers?

Reichen
What a long strange trip it's been. - The Grateful Dead.

William Kapfer and Prince of Media David Rabadi are your biggest supporters!

David
Reichen I am grateful for you letting me and the readers fly with you on your jet and mostly for taking into consideration the state of the economy and not charging! The best things in life are free and the best feeling is encountering an individual that cares to make the world a better place, now that we have found our common ground. All I wanna write is gay men, white men, black men, everybody is in a situation and this Arab American writer man is aggravated with people spreading false allegations. Reichen everybody wants to do you and when they are done, file a law suit. They can beat you, hate you, I'm here to help you write it out, they will never break you. You are a  victim of hate. They have raped you of your pride and you learned to set yourself free looking up to heaven to fulfill its prophecy. All you dead heads go some where else with all your trepidations and speculations.. Here is a link to Reichen song . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gE6ZcLzQL3o
