David
Hello Mr. man of many hats, what title are you today?

Jeff
I am still a producer , actor , vice chairman of the Hoboken Film Festival . Real estate development has slowed down for me this last year . I am also working as a real estate agent in Hoboken in between film jobs .

David
Business administration and the entertainment industry are worlds apart, why did you chose to get an education in business instead of  an education in film " your passion"?

Jeff
I decided to get a degree in business because : Producing movies is a business . You have to make and create budgets , raise money , work with educated financeers ,and  create deal memos . there is a lot of number crunching in making a movie . One part of the film business that film schools neglect to teach is the business aspect of making a movie. Its more than just camera angles and lighting .

David
What is different from Jeff the producer to Jeff the Vice Chairman ?

Jeff
The difference between producer Jeff and Vice chair Jeff is : When I produce a movie , I am involved in every aspect of the movie making process . Casting , financing , hiring , firing , catering , equipment , sound , managers, talent, locations  , agents etc .The vice chair part is helped out by a huge amount of very talented people on The Hoboken International Film Festival team.

David
What title do you enjoy the most and would love to master?

Jeff
The title I enjoy the most is Producer . I would love to master being a better actor . I have worked with some of the most talented actors around. When i watch them work , I just sit back and learn . Its an amazing experience.

Jeff the ACTOR and Jack Lam

David
It seems like you are on call 24/7. How are you able to juggle everything?

Jeff
I am always on call , But there has to be ME time . There is a time to turn off the cell and spend time with friends and family.

Daddy's little Girl!

David
What are some of the pressures you encounter on a daily basis?

Jeff
I encounter pressure from managers, agents , and talent. There are a lot of egos in Hollywood lol

David
What are your favorite films to watch and what genre of films do you prefer to produce ?

Jeff
One of my favorite films of all times is Silence of the Lambs . I love filming action movies with a lot of stunts .

Robbie Bryan, William Forsythe, Jeff Quinlan

David
What would be your dream role in a film?

Jeff
My dream role would be to create a character that is very funny yet business oriented . I would also love to work with Anthony Hopkins . I met him on set once , such a nice down to earth guy.

David
What inspires you to wake up every morning and swim in a sea that is filled with a majority of creatures disguising their true intentions for swimming laps near you?

Jeff
Actually my kids inspire me to wake up everyday and do better for them and the world . I have a very good way of reading people and their true intentions . I will do anything for people I consider my true friends . However , cross me and your dead to me . I don't appreciate that .

David
What advice can you give our readers that are chasing their passion?

Jeff
Don't ever let go of your dream . Achieving your goals may not come easy . But don't EVER give up and don't ever let others bring you down . Surround yourself with positive and energetic people . You will be amazed how this helps.

Jeff Quinlan & Anthony Hopkins

David
You have one last drop of ink, what do you wish to say?

Jeff
Stay positive stay focused don't let negative people bring you down . Love your friends and family . Don't ever give up on a dream.

David: Jeff thank you for taking the time out of your very busy schedule. You are a stand up guy that has uplifted the spirits of everybody you have encountered. You seek wisdom and that makes you wise. Readers pay attention if you imagine that you have attained wisdom you will look like a fool and the only time anyone likes being a fool is when the camera is on and you get a paycheck for it! I look forward to all the great work you will produce Jeff. BTW I act too..I got the script, you bring the camera, let's act it out.. : )
