The Aureole Bowl – a Super Bowl Foodie Extravaganza

Superbowl fans craving something a bit more elegant, unique and flavorful should wisely head to Aureole, New York for the big game on Sunday, February 2. Executive Chef Marcus Gleadow-Ware and his team have announced a spectacular menu for the AUREOLE BOWL, a dining and game viewing experience at Chef Charlie Palmer’s flagship restaurant. Kicking off at 6 p.m., at One Bryant Park (135 West 42nd Street), the AUREOLE BOWL will be decked with flatscreen TVs and will offer a football-themed menu ups the ante on your typical Super Bowl fare.  Look for running back roasted prime rib, roasted chip shot chicken and charcuterie endzone to add flavor to the game’s exciting plays.  The entire bar menu will be served with the addition of cocktails representing each team and special pricing on magnums of Bordeaux.  Nat Sherman will also be joining in the football fanfare with cigars for all guests. Reservations are required and pricing is $115 per person for food only, excluding beverages, tax and gratuity.

Aureole is located within the spectacular Bank of America Tower at One Bryant Park, the most environmentally advanced skyscraper in the world.  Offering a range of dining options, the Bar Room is smart and casual with walnut-topped tables and a back-lit, etched glass front bar with polished natural zinc top surface, the intimate Dining Room is designed in both lighting and texture to give off a golden glow, and The Halo Private Dining Room is wrapped with fabric panel and silver leaf walls, dotted with sculptural back-lit flame sconces. Now in its 25th year, Aureole is contemporary urban elegance.
