Cirque Du Soleil Theather - Orlando Florida

Wow and more wow! I will not be able to use enough adjectives in this article to convey the absolutely striking and no less then incredible performance that is Cirque Du Soleil - La Nouba . I have been to circuses and plenty of ballets and theatrical productions in my time but Cirque Du Soleil with out questions out classes then all. A modern and sophisticated approach to a very timeless style of theater, dance and well entertainment. I felt the sensation of having been wisped away into another time and space that seemed both ancient and futuristic, somehow a perfected blend of  both that I couldn't peel my eyes away from for a moment.

Balancing On Chairs

Each act seemed to draw me in further. As the classic clowns did their side shows amid a controlled beauty I sat amazed at the level of skill each and every performer demonstrated.  The cultures represented  in the various acts were no less then enthralling and riveting. The blending of Cirque (Circus Peoples) with the  less colorful but fascinating people 'Urbanites' is ingenious and added that timelessness that was so extra ordinary.

Diabolos (so cute and amazing)

La Nouba comes from the French and means 'to party' and that is exactly the feeling I got as I watched the  high energy fast paced BMX bike act called 'Velos'. A stunning display of  coordination, balance and color as the bikes and their neon clad riders perform unbelievable maneuvers, even involving an audience member in the feats as the poor soul lay on the stage the cyclist jumping over him and stopping just short of his head a few times. At one point the artist actually  used the bike to hop of the stage and up the stairs of the theater. Unbelievable!

The Titan

Another act that sounds out so prevalent in my mind was the 'Ballet air et soie' (Aerial Ballet in Silk).
A stunning display of grace, power and beauty  as a  very good looking guy enters the scene and  huge red silk banners (maybe 40 feet tall) hang from the ceiling flowing down around him. Then in a fantastical way he somehow wrapped his arms in the crimson cloths and flew with enchanting  grace high above the audience members like an angel. His grandeur not at all usurped by the four lovely ladies that joined him in the air. An incredible presentation of flexibility, stamina and above all beauty. Absolutely fascinated and compelled I found myself proud that we as human beings could demonstrate such demeanor.

German Wheel

Every act was mind boggling and  reflected extreme talent and perfection but I would be remiss if I failed to mention the amazing 'Diabolos' or Chinese Yo Yo preformed by very talented and obviously dedicated children. This training  and amazing concentration of these youngsters would inspire anyone as they watched them flip themselves into the air while juggling the 'Diabolos' high above them with perfected synchronicity and  timing. A wonder to behold no doubt.

Power Track Trampoline - Wow!

My friend and I left there absolutely amazed at what we had just experience together and couldn't resist buying a token of our journey to La Nouba at the gift shop below. This is a 'must do' experience for anyone of any age visiting Orlando, Florida. You will not be the same afterward.
