Vegas Performers Are Charitable People — Enjoy Their Shows and Support Local Charities

 

December. Tis the season when charitable people reach out and help others. Las Vegas entertainers have some special charitable events in December. Many others who are not spearheading an event are lending their talents for the good of others throughout the year.

 

 

The Toys 4Tots Concert on Saturday evening. December 13 at the Westgate is sure to be an audience pleaser. Last year, the organization distributed more than $200,000 worth of toys with the help of the US Marine Corps Reserve. The event, produced by Jonathan Scott and L. J. Harness and sponsored by Cadillac of Las Vegas, invites active and retired military and their families to attend at no charge.

Admission is $20 or an unwrapped toy valued at $20 or more. Tickets are available at the Westgate box office. The Red Carpet begins at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.

The event, hosted by popular entertainers Zowie Bowie and Lydia Ansel with musical direction of David Perrico - Pop Evolution, includes Naomi Mauro,  BBR with Anne Martinez and Savanah Smith, Comedians Dennis Blair and Robert Nash, Singer Ben Stone and American Idol star Jasmine Trias, Nieve Malandra,  Pia Zadora with Vinnie Falcone,  Maren Wade, American Trilogy with Rob G, Jason Tambor, Gary Anthony, cast of Purple Reign, Adrian Zmed, Lyssa  Lynn, and Vince Neil.

 

 

Mondays Dark, a monthly charity event co-produced by Rock of Ages star Mark Shunock and Cheryl Daro has raised over $100,000 for local charities in the past 13 months. On December.15, the community is invited to its One Year Bash at 7 p.m in the Joint at Hard Rock

 

Twenty-four charities will benefit from this enlarged show Past performers included Clint Holmes, Pia Zadora, Tara Palsha, Robert Torti, Geechy Guy, Jeff Leibow, as well as other cast members of strip shows.

 

 

Melody Sweets’ presents “XXXmas - A Burlesque Christmas Spectacular” on Tuesday, December 23 at 10:30 p.m. at the ABSINTHESpiegeltent. Following the success of her sold out Wild Wild West Burlesque show, Melody Sweets and other sexy Las Vegas stars will join together for one-night-only to celebrate the holidays and give back to the community. All proceeds from the event benefit HELP of Southern Nevada. “XXXmas - A Burlesque Christmas Spectacular” is 18+.

Andy Walmsley, Emmy award winning producer/designer, has supported the Make A Wish Foundation and The Miracle of League of Las Vegas through his roasts and his recent ENTSpeaks: Entertainers You Think You Know,” production.

Producer Paul Stone through Showstoppers presented a Tribute to 98 year old Circus Legend Tihany this past fall. The audience was a who's who of magic including Siegfried and Roy. Funds raised supported the Heaven Can Wait Animal Society.

Win-Win Entertainment, established by Jeff Civillico matches professional entertainers willing to donate their time and talent with eligible charities to bolster the Las Vegas community organizations through entertainment.

Celebrity magician Murray Sawchuck holds an Annual Show and Golf Tournament with all proceeds going to the Humane Society.www.friendsforlifehumanesociety.org. He also lends his talents to support Opportunity Village - 'Magical Forest' with a MURRAY 'Celebrity Magician' Tree decorated for the holidays as well as the Wounded Warriors, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and Solid Rock Foundation.

Vegas headliner Clint Holmes believes strongly in supporting local charities.  Despite a rigorous schedule this top entertainer can be found on the stage throughout the year in support of his community.

 

These are just a few of the many entertainers who support their local community and beyond by producing or appearing in events that fund charities.  They are star studded events well worth the ticket prices.  Support them and their charities during this holiday season.
