JC’s Irish Sports Pub Review - Amping up the Gameday Experience at the JW Marriott

The gameday experience in Las Vegas offers plenty of amazing options. The Las Vegas strip has become littered with crowded, overpriced and impersonal locations, but JC's Irish Sports Pub at JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort and Rampart Casino has created the intimate, fun experience that you have been looking for as you cheer on your favorite team.

A slight name change from  J.C. Wooloughan's to JC's Irish Sports Pub gave this authentic Irish pub a facelift to make this a sports viewing haven. Whether sitting at the bar or one of the comfy couches, there are flat screens at every angle so you won't miss any second of the action. The games are just the beginning; JC's does the little things that make this experience different than the rest of the typical sports bars.

No event in Las Vegas is bigger or better than March Madness and while the people on the Las Vegas strip were laying out big dollars just to watch the game, JC's made the experience about reveling in the games, not in cost. There was no cost to watch the game while over on the strip it was not uncommon to find people paying $100 just to sit down and get some warm beer and bad service. JC's was offering deals of $2 Miller drafts, $5 burgers and $5 wings and that was just the beginning. Right outside of JC's was a sports betting station that not only took standard bets, but offered in-game wagering at every commercial break of every game. Finally while MGM properties were handing out a single drink ticket for a minimum of $100 dollar wager, well let's just say the Rampart Casino was teaming up with JC's to do much better.

JC's Bar

Fish & Chips

JC's has a standard happy hour that is offered up daily from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and features $2.50 draft beers, including Guinness, Bass, Stella, Smithwicks and Harp, hard to find that price for such stellar beers anywhere else. You can also take part in the daily Guinness Toast at 4 p.m. Simply put; JC's is likely the best value you are going to find.

Jalapeno and Bacon Mac & Cheese

What kind of Irish pub would this be without classic dishes done right such as Beef & Guinness Pie and Fish & Chips that you can put up against any other Irish pub in town. One of the other real treats on the menu are the dirty chips that are a twist on nachos, but these are prepared with in-house homemade potato chips. Order up any of these and pair them with a Chocolate Strawberry, a delicious combination of Guinness and Fruli, a strawberry Belgian fruit beer.

Jameson Girls during March Madness

Once the games are over, that certainly doesn't mean the fun is. This is an Irish bar, so JC's puts on some amazing live entertainment including authentic Irish bands to go along with rock bands that will take you late into the night.

While JC’s is certainly a fantastic place to catch the game, pairing it with the beautiful JW Marriott and all that if offers, including beautiful rooms, great dining and an amazing golf course and a treasure of a pool, makes this a resort worth more than one visit.

Race & Sports Book

It doesn't matter if it is March Madness, the Super Bowl or St. Patrick's Day, JC's Irish Sports Pub is the new hidden gem that is worth those few minutes to drive away from the hectic strip. Those few miles will be well worth it as you very well might make the JW and JC's your new Vegas Vacation location.
