Halloween Las Vegas 2013 – Where to Scare This Halloween

Las Vegas might not be the best place for trick-or-treating, but there a some unique scares that will make sure your Halloween will be a one-of-a-kind experience. Splash Magazines Worldwide has put together a list of a few of most intriguing Halloween settings that you can enjoy in the month of October.

If you are looking for a Halloween experience that is all Las Vegas, LIGHT Nightclub will kick off Halloween at Mandalay Bay with #LIGHTMARE, an epic musical lineup. Things get started early as LIGHT will have a Halloween edition of Blow Out Wednesdays with Alesso on October 30th.  This Hallows Eve bash will mark the first return to the Cirque Du Soleil nightclub for Alesso since his incredible performance over EDC week.  #LIGHTMARE continues on Friday, November 1st  for an unforgettable night with the iconic Skrillex along with special guests 12th planet, DJ Snake and Lunice.  Skrillex has played two previous shows at LIGHT this year with support talent he curated, and the response has been a resounding success. Alesso comes back to close  #LIGHTMARE  on Saturday, November 2nd  with his econd performance of the weekend. Alesso  will be followed by a special late night support set from Mat Zo. LIGHT invites guests to join in a never-before-seen, weekend blow out of Halloween celebrations.  

Over three-days, #LIGHTMARE will scare and thrill you, but there are also costume contests and countless surprises in store. Sharks certainly are scary, although not really Halloween scary. The Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay is going to change that perception, as from October 25-27, the aquarium will become the famous Haunted Reef. Guests can wander through the underwater world amidst piercing eyes of grueling predators including 15 different species of sharks and two rare Komodo Dragons. Costumed children 12 and under won’t have to go trick and treating on Friday, Oct. 25 as they will receive complimentary entry and candy treats at the frightful attraction.

The Adventuredome at Circus Circus will transform into the Fright Dome and will debut its first ever isolation-style haunted house, Hotel Argento. If you are looking for a classic haunted house scare this is for you! The park is teaming up with Fortress Features to theme two new haunted houses inspired by horror films “The Collection” and “The Collector.”  The Fright Dome now features an unprecedented six scary stand-alone haunted houses that will frighten you from October 3-31.

If you are looking for an eerie experience, take the journey through R.M.S. Titanic’s tragic story with a guided tour of Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at Luxor. Guests have reported an eerie presence including strange sounds and ghostly encounters inside the Exhibition since its opening. This Halloween you might just have yourself a paranormal scare as you will get to take a special guided tour that will allow you to explore firsthand to see if the ill-fated ship’s rumored connections to the supernatural are true. Learn about the strange coincidences that surround the legendary story of Titanic October 31st through November 2nd. Tours will run nightly every 30 minutes from 5 p.m.-8 p.m.
