ÔĽŅLas Vegas Nevada’s Hard Rock Café was a glamour and glitz setting for the “Movement’s” Annual Blackout party. Guests arrived red carpet ready in designer fashions.
Over a thousand guests partied throughout the night to the mind blowing imagery and sounds provided by DJ Poun and DJ Frazen. Local and out of town celebrities crowded the standing room only venue. Fans of DJ Poun and DJ Frazen flew and drove in from Atlanta, Chicago, LA, Phoenix and New York. There were also fans from London and West Africa. The event, founded by Thomas Mason, has tripled in attendance and popularity since it began five years ago. Mason has successfully created an upscale, hip and eclectic energy in Las Vegas where celebrities and guests can mingle freely and openly.
E! Correspondent and BET television personality and actor Terrence Jenkins (AKA Terrence J) hosted the event. Terrence is still recognized as a former host on BET’s popular music video countdown show 106 & Park. His entourage was made up of beautiful people who resembled a Vogue and GQ Magazine photo layout. VIP Guests received special goody bags that included jewelry and designer key chains. They were also treated to the famous alcohol infused deserts from Sin City Cupcakes.
Lisa Broussard has attended every Blackout 5 event and said, “they just get better and better.” The party, in true Vegas style, lasted until early morning.
