Survive and Advance - March Madness at Wynn Las Vegas

Las Vegas has always been the ultimate place to be for “March Madness.” Where else can you get all four games on big screen televisions going at the same time, wagering on every game, fans from everywhere and screaming and cheering with seemingly every shot. This year Wynn Las Vegas has taken that to a completely new level, hosting the television series “Survive and Advance.”

Billy Packer

Billy Packer and Bobby Knight will co-host “Survive and Advance,” giving guests of Wynn Las Vegas an opportunity to get an up-close and personal experience with two of the most respected minds in college basketball. This show will be live at Wynn Las Vegas everyday of the tournament. Packer has been the voice of the NCAA tournament for years and has called the National Championship game for CBS through 2008. Knight won three national championships as a coach and was the coach of the last undefeated team in Division I basketball, as his Indiana Hoosiers went 32-0 in 1976.

If you are going to enjoy the NCAA basketball tournament, nothing beats Las Vegas, and it is the only place to be in March, it is a true roller coaster ride right inside the sportsbook. In most years you really can't go wrong watching the tournament at any sportsbook, but by adding Packer, Knight and "Survive and Advance," you can wager that Wynn Las Vegas will be the only place to be this March.

Billy Packer, Rob Oseland and John Avello

In addition to "Survive and Advance," as with everything else it does, Wynn Las Vegas made sure that it put together the best sportsbook on the strip. In order to do that, Wynn Las Vegas got the man that makes the lines and is the most respected person when it comes to sports wagering in Las Vegas, John Avello. 30 years in Las Vegas and 22 years working in sports books, Avello knows sports wagering from every angle and he makes sure if there is a game to be bet or a line to post, he will have it.

“If you want to have four days of absolute excitement, this is it for you. And adding Billy Packer and Bobby Knight, this will really be an experience like you have never had before," Avello said.

For you first timers the best tip that Avello had was to pace yourself, don’t bet all your money early, because if you happen to lose your money early, it will make for a long rest of the weekend. Avello is so adept at making lines, just for fun he creates odds on events such as; the Oscars, Dancing with the Stars and almost any entertainment event that is of interest at the time.

To make the most of the NCAA Tournament and so you can enjoy everything that it is offering, Wynn Las Vegas has put together some great travel packages. With two opinionated voices such as Packer and Knight, this is going to be an experience you will not want to miss and Wynn Las Vegas is where will you will want to be.
