JabbaWockeeZ MUS.I.C 2010 Vegas Premier - Find Your Inspiration!

(Las Vegas, Nevada) May 7, 2010 - Once again, the world renowned dance crew JabbaWockeeZ had the audience enthralled during their premier performance in Las Vegas last Friday at the MGM Grand's Hollywood Theater.  In their largest venue to date, this group had no problem keeping the momentum going throughout their hour and a half performance.

Guests in attendance included such names as music superstar Sean Paul, TV personality Wayne Brady, and famed athletes DeMarcus Ware of the Dallas Cowboys and Jerome Williams of the New York Knicks.   “America’s Best Dance Crew” judge Lil Mama and “So You Think You Can Dance” judge Mary Murphy, as well as dance crews including Beat Freaks, Super Cr3w, and Quest Crew.  Other celebrities including DJ Franzen, DJ Loczi, Boogaloo Shrimp, and Survivor winners and all-stars Richard Hatch, Tom Westman, Ethan Zohn, Jenna Morasca, Stephenie LaGross, and Big Tom Buchanan all came together to enjoy the sensually crafted dance moves of JabbaWockeeZ.

Re-defining hip hop dance through their hypnotic displays of synchronized choreography and exceptional athleticism, this group is a 'must see' while you are in Vegas.  Through the use of their signature white masks and gloves and uniform attire, the crew keeps audiences focused on their dance as a group rather than on the seven individuals that now make up the group.   As part of their ongoing efforts to support youths through dance, the JabbaWockeeZ invited the pre-teen group Chi-Town Finest Breakers to attend the premiere and show off their dance moves.

The MUS.I.C tour, (pronounced Muse I See), is described by the group as “an audio-visual story of inspiration brought to life through the harmonization of sound and movement,” and is dedicated to inspiring minds through music and dance.   To participate in their “Find Your Inspiration” contest and register to win tickets to their show, go to www.JBWKZ.com and tell them what inspires you!

Dance Crew

Formed in 2003 when the original members were living in San Diego, the group was introduced to the masses in 2007 during the second season of America’s Got Talent.   Ironically enough, they were eliminated when performing in Las Vegas at the callback show.  Sadly, founding member Gary Kendall passed away that following December due to complications caused by pneumonia and meningitis.

In accordance with Gary ’s wishes, the group persevered   and in 2008 won the first season of America 's Best Dance Crew.   Since then the JabbaWockeeZ crew has been dazzling audiences on shows such as Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Regis & Kelly, The TODAY Show 2009 Summer Concert Series, E! News , America ’s Next Top Model and MTV and motivating young people to dance.

JabbaWockeeZ is truly an inspiration for all to experience!   This group is a “must see” while you are in Vegas running through May 26th at 9:30 PM nightly, tickets are available the MGM ticket box office priced at $49 and $59, not including applicable service charges and taxes. To charge by phone, call (800) 929-1111 or (702) 891-7777.  Tickets also are available for purchase online at www.mgmgrand.com and www.ticketmaster.com
