The first thing you need to do is put a plan together and get prepared for March Madness. You don’t just show up in Las Vegas on Thursday morning and think you are going to walk right into hoop heaven. First thing you need to do is book a room and the sooner the better, by the time March rolls around the supply is going to be limited and with that the rules of supply in demand go into full effect. Plan early where you are going to watch the games, waiting until tipoff on Thursday morning might leave you standing for most of the day. Don’t be shocked to see people grabbing seats at the sports book at the crack of dawn or earlier. Don’t forget wagering, that is what separates Las Vegas from the rest of the world and like the rest of this lesson, timing is everything. If you try to get a bet in for the first game of the day at 9 a.m., forget it. The lines are long and there are plenty of people who are going to be a the betting window for a while trying to figure out the game and number of what games they want to wager on. Getting your wagers in on Wednesday will make your life much easier when Thursday comes along. Now that you have all of that accomplished the rest of the weekend relies upon location, location, location and Splash Magazines Worldwide has the definitive list of venues that you will have the most fun watching all of the games at.

If you want your own private box MGM has created the setting just for you with the Skyboxes at the MGM Grand's Race & Sports Book. You will feel like you are in an arena, but instead of watching one game you will be overlooking every game that is going on. A sports book is the best place to watch March Madness so you can only imagine how amazing taking in the games from the Skyboxes would be.

The Skyboxes offer a second-level view and can comfortably host up to ten guests while the larger SkyBox 2 and SkyBox 3 can be configured to comfortably accommodate up to twenty guests and you will get your own beverage server and complimentary food. In addition the boxes are equipped with 42-inch plasma TVs and surround-sound audio systems and the latest video game systems. The MGM Grand's Race & Sports Book also made grabbing your own food convenient as it is adjacent to the Stage Deli. For more information visit MGM Grand's Race & Sports Book or call 1-800-776-7824

The best part of the ARIA sports book is what is next door, Five50 Pizza Bar from Executive Chef Shawn McClain. Five50 is a fantastic restaurant with a full menu and bar, but for March Madness the fact that you can quickly grab a slice of gourmet pizza and get back to the games will make your viewing experience perfect.
