Labor Day is always one of the biggest weekends of the year in Las Vegas and if you plan on being in Sin City, you will not be disappointed. The pool parties and the nightclubs outdid themselves this year with the talented lineups; your only problem is going to be deciding where to go.
DAYLIGHT Beach Club and LIGHT Nightclub at Mandalay Bay have both quickly become the two places to be in Las Vegas since opening earlier this year. With summer winding down and only so many weekends let to enjoy pool life, DAYLIGHT is a must. The long weekend at DAYLIGHT begins on Friday with Peach Fridays, where local favorite DJ Stellar will spin poolside. Internationally-celebrated DJ Zedd will take over the pool deck on Saturday afternoon, after an opening set by Alvin Risk. Make sure to stay poolside when the sun goes down, Dutch DJ and house music composer/producer Nicky Romero will hit the turntables for the ECLIPSE nighttime concert series. Sunday afternoon will feature one of EDM’s fastest rising stars as Alesso headlines the pool party with Eric D-Lux. ECLIPLSE is back again on Sunday, this time music mogul and hip-hop icon Diddy hosts this special party that takes place under DAYLIGHT’s one-of-a-kind light show. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike will wrap up the long weekend at DAYLIGHT with an energetic poolside performance on Labor Day.
LIGHT Nightclub kicks off the weekend with a Friday night performance by resident DJ and international sensation Sebastian Ingrosso. Saturday night LIGHT guests will be treated to yet another chart-topping artist, as Skrillex spins Saturday night after an opening set by Alex Metric. Don Diablo will start the party Sunday evening, before Nicky Romero takes over the DJ booth for a special after-hours set. Cirque du Soleil entertainers will complete the LIGHT experience each evening, flying through the air and performing mind-bending acrobatics. If you have not been to LIGHT you are in store for the most unique nightclub experience on the strip.
The Light Group also has special plans during Labor Day weekend for the recently opened Kumi Japanese Restaurant + Bar at Mandalay Bay from Chef Akira Back. Kumi will host a local grand opening on August 28th to help kickoff The Light Group’s Labor Day Weekend festivities.
The Light Group has a lot of other amazing things going on all over the Strip this holiday weekend. At ARIA Resort & Casino Flo Rida will be at HAZE Nightclub and T-Pain takes over on Sunday. Looking for a smaller yet incredibly fun pool party, LIQUID at ARIA is a great option and Flo Rida will take you through Sunday sun-filled day. 1 Oak at Mirage has quickly become one of the favorite night spots in all of Las Vegas and you can look forward to seeing KE$SHA on Sunday hosting the festivities.
HYDE Bellagio gets an early start on the weekend this Thursday with their “Live Music Thursday” event that features The Peter Love Band. Saturday the party at HYDE will be hosted by Kourtney Kardashian while DJ Eric D-Lux will be performing.
