At the The Syrup Loft, in downtown Los Angeles July 12, Trapeze returns.  This is my second go-round at the infamously wild San Francisco Electro-Swing-Soiree. The streets are dark and empty.  I arrive early, to check out the joint, and to see what's shakin'.  There is a guard at the door, uniformed, he barely glances up at me, and nods to go on in.  I must have that  VIP look I think. Or it's the cameras hanging all over me.

The Syrup Loft is the perfect venue to recreate  an Old Tyme Speakeasy. It  is all that I suppose an ole' Speakeasy Cabaret would be in the 1930's, in Chicago, or New York City or maybe even Los Angeles.

I mentioned in my preview Article, that there would be hot, gorgeous,  beautiful, women, and men, playing in uninhibited abandon.  Oh Yeah....and new Music called `Vintage Voltage: Sounds of Trapeze, Vol. 1'.

The music was righteous, and didn't let up all night long. Electro-Swing is alive and well.  The crowd was dressed for the theme, with an abundance of cleavage and legs. Legs that went all the up to Heaven. With music pulsating all the way down to the street.

And Tonya Kay graced us with her special brand of Va Va Voom. Take a look at the Vid Clip here.

Aaron Delachaux was leading the night off.   THE KLOWN was there, along with Shakti Bliss, and The Gentlemen Callers.

There were a bunch of naughty haughty ladies on stage, in varying stages of dress, and undress. Even when a technical glitch clobbered the grove of the music,  the Vamps on Stage   Meka La Creme Stilletta Maraschino, Tonya Kay,   and  Mojo Deville kept it moving and the crowd chimed in with Singing, Whoops, and Hollerin, and the Ladies never missed  Beat.  Ms Grace Hall.  all the way from Rome, Italy joined us to bring an International flare, and a little class to the joint.  But let me tell you,  all she did was heat things up to the max.

Enjoy all the pictures that I can show you. Next time you'll have to just come and see for yourself.

My next article will be about a very special art event and workshop that takes place in Los Angeles,  called Turkish Delight, hosted by Jennifer Fabos Patton's and her fab Gallery Girls.  I'm also working on upcoming articles about the Artist Julian Ritter, and of course more Fashion Shows and Art Events.

The next Trapeze will commence on August 15. You can see additional photos from Trapeze LA on my Facebook Album Page at   Greg Autry Art & Photo
