The Queen Mary was a magnificent night for The New Year Eve Party. Everyone was dressed in period attire for the event. The RMS Queen Mary launched on Sept. 26, 1934, making 2014 the 80th anniversary of the christening and launch of the legendary cruise-liner.
In celebration of the anniversary and to ring in the New Year The Queen Mary's Ultimate New Year's Eve Voyage was ablaze with fireworks-filled sky on the legendary decks. There was so much to do and see on this beautiful ship, we could dance the night away, or just enjoy the music. It was an evening of great food, drinks, and live entertainment through out the night.
Upon arrival in each port, the ship's horn would blow and the commodore would announce our destination. We got spooked by the horn. There was a signature cocktail of each location while we enjoyed entertainment and activities of the distant lands. We stopped to take photos on a green backdrop and we got this really nice photo package of different backgrounds of the places we stopped at: India, France, Brazil, and Coney Island. I took some time at Cherbourg, France to try their amazing Brie and Apricot En Crote and Coq Au Vin Skewers.
Then journeyed on to see the belly dancers and it was very entertain. All the dancers were so beautiful and talented. Also I got my face painted by the body artist named Magaly Merino at Art Splashers. She did a leopard print on one side of my face. She is an amazing talented paint artist.
