If you are in Los Angeles for New Year’s Eve, sitting at home to ring in the New Year is the last thing you want to be doing. KOI is always known as one of the most memorable dining locations in all of Los Angeles, but they are going to turn it up a little bit on New Year’s Eve and turn your dinner into a celebration. Chef Robb Lucas, who never disappoints, will be turning out a few special dishes to go along with his amazing regular menu. In addition the lounge will be turned into a dance floor with DJ DC Joey spinning all-night long. If you stay until midnight, and why wouldn’t you, KOI will be handing out party favors and will offer a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.
If you are looking for that perfect start-to-finish meal, Scott Conant's Scarpetta Beverly Hills will be featuring two dinner seatings on New Year's Eve. The first seating includes a three-course tasting menu, including a champagne toast at 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. for $85 per person. The second seating showcases a five-course tasting menu at 9:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., complete with champagne toast at midnight and party favors for $150 per person.
The Strand House in Manhattan Beach not only provides one of the most stunning settings that anyone could ask for this New Year’s Eve, but they are also paring that beach view with two dinner seatings, each featuring a delightfully indulgent four or five course feast.
The first seating is from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., guests will have the opportunity to enjoy The Strand House’s special four-course New Year’s menu ($85 per person with optional wine pairing for an additional $45 per person). The five-course menu, to be served from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. ($125 per person with optional wine pairing for an additional $55 per person) and will include a glass of Perrier Jouet Grand Brut Champagne to toast the New Year.
Following dinner, guests are invited to attend The Strand House’s exclusive New Year’s Eve party, downstairs in The StrandBar, free of charge. The StrandBar will feature music, stunning décor and a cash bar where guests may order their favorite libations and enjoy the StrandBar’s famous hand-crafted cocktails. (Note: There will be a $40 per person cover charge for those not attending dinner at The Strand House.)
Harry Morton's Pink Taco Sunset Strip is always one big party so on New Year’s Eve you can expect one non-stop festive celebration to ring in the New Year. The Pink Taco 1st Annual New Year's Eve Extravaganza will take place on the venue's 3rd floor Ballroom from 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. and guests can enjoy an open bar from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., multiple DJ's, live streams from New York City on the 14 foot project screen, drinking games, and a complimentary Champagne Toast.
