This roundtable discussion with the mayoral candidates was inspired by a popular feature on LAFashionWEEK.com known as the “Producer’s Roundtable Discussion,” where editors conduct conversations with the main producers of LA Fashion Week events. During the last Producer’s Roundtable Discussion, every single producer agreed the City should be doing more in support of a cohesive and impactful Fashion Week in Los Angeles.

John Forrester, the founder and editor of LAFashionWeek.com commented: “We hope the victor in the LA Mayoral contest will take an active role in facilitating a world-class Fashion Week in Los Angeles, as well as protecting the rights of garment industry workers for fair wages and decent working conditions.”
