This was an event geared towards the fight against domestic violence. The Charity Fundraiser and silent auction was a nice, classy event. Bringing Hollywoods elite to support a great cause.
There are over 267,868 victims of domestic violent and sexual assualt from the age of 12 and older. There are so many Every 2 minutes another American is sexually assualted. 60% of sexual assualts are not reported to police. 97% of rapists will never spend a day in jail. 2/3 of assualts are committed by someone known to the victim. 38% of rapists are a friend or acquintance. The Joyful Heart Foundation's No More Campain is making it more aware that this is happening.

The events are great opportunities for people to share their stories with other victims and interact and be around people who care. The silent auction was amazing. Beautiful unique pieces from necklaces to paintings. They were also giving goodies bags to attendees of the event.
