Doris Bergman’s 4th Annual EMMY® Style Lounge & Party

It’s “that” time of year again… the time for Awards Shows – and along with them, the wonderful gifting suites, where celebs get showered with the newest, most awesome products, clothes and accessories.  What could be more fun than going to a fabulous restaurant and getting fabulous gifts to take home!

One of the best gift suites every year is Doris Bergman’s Annual Emmy Style Lounge and Party. It was held Thursday, Sept 12, 2013 at the Fig & Olive restaurant on Melrose Place. This Hollywood favorite features gourmet cuisine from the French and Italian Rivieras and offered a sumptuous lunch for the VIP and celebrity guests, as they joined in the first tribute of the season, getting ready for the upcoming  65th Annual Pimetime Emmy Awards.

Adding to the elegant scene were stars like the always-suave Robert “RJ” Wagner and his daughter, Katie; Dot Marie Jones (Outstanding Guest Actress on Glee); Sharna Burgess & Glleb Savchenko (Dancing with the Stars); Rich Sommer (Madmen) and Primetime Emmy Nominee Dan Bucatinsky, who just won the Emmy for Guest Actor on “Scandal.” A big congrats to Dan!

Who's got the Spongelle? It's Dan Bucatinsky, Emmy winner for his guest starring role on "Scandal"

This Emmy gifting suite was a chance for all of the stars to visit various vendors and check out some of their coolest items.

Some of our favs are:

Whitening Ligtning:  C’mon – this is Hollywood, who doesn’t want the whitest teeth all the time? Now you can have that winning white smile – either with a kit for home use – or a whitening pen for when you’re on the run.  I love this brand – they even have lip gloss wands that are uber-groovy – they light up when you open them – and we know that you’ll light up a room after using these products.

Single Dress: All the female celebs were stopping by to get chic and trendy dresses in the newest solid colors and prints. Sooooo hot and soooo cool with sexy necklines, hemlines, and overall lines to make women look their shapeliest and oh-so-fine.

What woman in Hollywood – or anywhere – doesn’t like jewelry?  Well, this was the place for it, with Twisted Silver, Perch Jewelry, and Lusciouss all showing their delightfully different and unique styles. Celebs were trying on a myriad of wonderful chains, bracelets and necklaces at Twisted Silver and Perch, including earrings that were truly unusual – birdcage earrings.  There were also Breathe and Blessed Benedictine bracelets by My Saint, My Hero.  Btw,  Lusciouss is showing some of their styles on HSN, so be sure to tune in and check them out in future shows.

For underneath those sparkly bangles and fashion forward dresses – there were some sexy intimates and sachet from Classy Sachet and cosmetics to keep your skin young and beautiful from La Curcio Skin Care Collection.  And after the makeup goes on – if you use Model in a Bottle, it will stay on all day and night to keep you looking oh-so-stunning all night.

Accessories, anyone?  RADAR Watches are the ones to watch for! They come in all kinds of colors, with new packaging and faces that literally light up; we love them and expect to see them on wrists everywhere.  Why bother reaching for your cell phone to see the time – when a RADAR Watch can be on your wrist.

A different kind of wrist wear – that’s actually a safety device, comes from  It’s filled with pepper spray and simply slips over the hand for protection at your fingertips if the wrong someone tries to mess with you!

Bad guys watch out! Run Safety Pepper Spray fits on the "good guy's" wrists!

In the spirit of giving back, guests donated new and unwrapped gifts for children ages 13-18 for a Pre-Holiday Gift Drive benefiting ‘Wednesday’s Child’ -- a weekly segment airing on KTTV FOX 11 News, Los Angeles, with Anchor Christine Devine. ‘Wednesday’s Child’ highlights ‘harder to place’ children in the LA County foster care system who are in need of adoptive families. In Los Angeles County, alone, there are over 30,000 children receiving child welfare services,” says social worker, William Wong.”  Additionally, Doris Bergman invited two foster children to join in on the festivities and experience what it felt like to be treated as a VIP. “The love from the guests and sponsors was tremendous!” said Wong.
