Remodelers Council Holiday Dinner

Professional  remodelers, interior decorators, product manufacturers and building professionals  from all over Southern California mingled at the annual So-Cal Remodelers Council party,  which was held at  Stevens Steak House in Commerce, California on Wednesday, November 20, 2013.

As the industry’s premier event covering remodeling disciplines in the Southern California region, the evening provided a valuable networking opportunity for sharing insights and best practices.  The party was an opportunity for the contributing members to celebrate the rich history of the So-Cal Remodelers Council as well as to welcome new individuals to the organization.

Remodelers Gather At The Dinner Table

The evening was set in a grassroots neighborhood style of event where the attendees were highly engaged in the exchange of creative ideas increasing each individual’s knowledge and skill. There was no pre-determined set of speakers which allowed everyone that attended the opportunity to get to know each other in their areas of expertise. During the dinner portion of the evening the group offered up discussions and solutions to some of their daily challenges as many of us have done over our dinner tables at home every evening. The warmth of Remodelers Council is what makes this organization the best in this region.

This year, the Remodelers Council has announced new program elements that will be introduced in 2014. The new collaborative efforts include all members in the remodeling community in Southern California in order to give them an opportunity to share, present, network and discuss their ideas with the council members. So-Cal Council president, Jeremy Barela from the LIXIL Corporation has spearheaded this expansion of the organization. Anyone interested in improving their ability to conceive, build, manage or market products is welcome. “Everyone brings different experiences and leveraging that collective knowledge is what makes the So-Cal Remodelers Council so special stated Barela.”

Party goodie bag sponsors included invitations from The La Follies Kickin’ Chorus Line’s A Toast To Tinseltown, Hand Sanitizer from Prime 5 Homes, Polish, Stone & Tile Floor Cleaner and daily Cleaner from Granite Gold, Inax-USA Cell Phone Screen Cleaner and the Brinks Home Security® brand of door handles, produced by Hampton Products, which is introducing a new line of Push-Pull-Rotate® knobs and levers that enable people to open their doors even when their hands are full.
