Betty White Congratulates Lifeline Program Contest Winner

Ageless Actress/Greater Los Angeles Zoo Co-Chair Shares Holiday Visit with Leslie Scott from Rhode Island

69-year-old Coventry, Rhode Island resident Leslie Scott is in Los Angeles on an all-expense paid trip to meet Emmy Award winning actress and Greater Los Angeles Zoo Co-Chair, Betty White for a private tour of the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens.  Scott is the winner of The Lifeline Program's national "Bucket List" contest on Facebook.  Her written submission about why she would like to meet her long-time TV idol was chosen from the many essays received from around the country.

Leslie Scott, Betty White, Lifeline Program Founder/CEO Wm. Scott Page, and Lifeline Program SVP of Marketing/Branding Stephen Terrell greeted Los Angeles Zoo Director John R. Lewis at the Zoo entrance, then Scott said a few words to the press and gathered crowd.  "This is a terrific experience!" she said with a smile before hopping aboard a private golf cart with White, Page and Terrell.  The four made their way to the Bear Den, where they tossed snowballs and posed for press as the American Black Bear residents watched with curiosity.

Betty White is the official spokesperson of The Lifeline Program.  Founded in 1989, The Lifeline Program offers life settlements as a new financial planning option to Baby Boomers and retirees.  For more information (and to see videos featuring Betty White) go to The Lifeline Program website, or call 1-855-GO-BETTY.
