Known for its slogan, ‘Live Fast’, Affliction clothing has done it again. Affliction hosted the grand opening of its new store with nothing less than class and excitement. ‘Thy Will be Done”, was the theme for this remarkable event hosted by Randy Couture and interviews by Bridgetta Tomarchio that took place in Seal Beach, California on June 4, 2011.
The event had an immense amount of activity throughout its duration and was none other than spectacular. Thy Will be Done had a hot rod, car, and motorcycle show for view in the designated area surrounding the venue. Individuals were given the option to enjoy the outside viewing of the hot rods, cars, and motorcycles or enjoy the variety of entertainment that was occurring in the inside. Inside the venue were various forms of artwork, food and beverages, live tattoos on site as well as live entertainment.
In order to compile such a successful event, Affliction gathered support from an array of companies. Sponsors for this particular event included: Dos Equis, Heineken, Tilted Kilt, Miller, LimeLite, Krome Vodka, and West Coast Ink.
Tattoos both big and small were not an issue to this particular tattoo company. Specializing in accepting personal requests and delivering top results, West Coast Ink dealt with the magnitude of interested clients on a one by one basis. Paying very close to detail in this hectic environment appeared to be simple to these professionals. West Coast Ink was offering tattoos for any individual that would like to receive one. I think its safe to say West Coast Ink definitely left its 'mark' at the Affliction event.
As attendees were able to munch on delicious goodies prepared by ‘Tilted Kilt’ and sip on beverages sponsored by Heineken and Dos Equis, the rock band, The Black Cloud Collective was putting on a live performance in a separate room to keep the energy flowing. Black Cloud put on an amazing show for those in attendance.
The Affliction store had a very unique look to it that was impressive. Each corner decked out with the latest styles of Affliction clothing and decorated with motorcycles and various rustic pieces that delivered an edgy environment. The room filled quickly with interested buyers and new customers that were ready to see what all of the buzz was about with this clothing line.
Throughout the duration of the event various celebrities and press were in attendance. Those in attendance include: Host Randy Couture (Former UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Champion), Bridegetta Tomarchio (TV's Californiacation) Fabricio Werdum (StrikeForce Heavyweight Champion), Fletcher (Pennywise), Renato "Babalu" Sobral (StrikeForce Fighter), Attika 7, Biohazard, Nitro (Gladiators) , Willie Gault (Oakland Raiders) , Alexis Bellino (OC Housewives) TRAA (P.O.D) Matt Hotch, Chica, Michael Madsen, Jessa Hinton (Playboy Playmate) Dominic Purcell (TV's Prison Break), and Erin Cummings.
As the day dwindled into the evening, the event proved to be a huge success. I was thoroughly impressed with the turnout of the event and all it had to offer. The grand opening of the Affliction store in Seal Beach offered more than the usual and was one for the books for Affliction. It offered entertainment, artwork of various forms, food and beverages, and much more. I can’t wait to see what else Affliction has in store.
