Los Angeles based Egyptian-American ACTRESS SARAH FASHA wins the title of “MISS EGYPT” 2013 in the international beauty pageant “THE QUEEN OF THE UNIVERSE.” She is a recent graduate of the prestigious Lee Strasberg Institute Conservatory as well as a United States Navy Veteran having served in Washington, D.C. before her transition into the entertainment world.
THE QUEEN OF THE UNIVERSE PAGEANT is set to take place on the 27th of January 2013 at the glamorous SABAN THEATRE in Beverly Hills, California and is being produced by the pageant’s president JOYCE GIRUAD (former Miss Universe Puerto Rico) alongside Academy Award nominee MICHAEL OHOVEN of Infinity Media, Inc.
With several affiliated charities around the world, including UNESCO (the United Nations Education Science and Cultural Organization), the pageant intends to promote education throughout the world by inspiring and empowering women who are role models and are committed to using their lives to better the lives of others.
“Being a first generation American, I am truly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had growing up and being able to serve my country in the United States military. Having a very large family in Egypt, including many very young cousins, I knew this was something I immediately wanted to get involved in because I have seen firsthand how countries such as Egypt do not always have the opportunities we have here,” explained SARAH. “With all the unfortunate unrest in Egypt’s current state, I want to put myself on a platform to be able to be a voice for Egyptian women and children, as well as for other countries around the world.”
Although SARAH is a well-trained ACTRESS and has extensive experience in modeling and fashion shows, this will be her first PAGEANT she has ever competed in. With many accomplishments under her belt, SARAH is also starring and producing her own series and with her current title, she is already involved in other charities and issues that are close to her.
