If you’re planning on getting married anytime soon, The Wedding Salon 2008 was definitely an event not to be missed.  Do you love to try different wedding cakes, get a free consultation on make-up and hair, and cut down time on gathering all that you need to for your wedding day?  Did I mention the gift bag with over $250 worth of goodies?  Do you want to see what’s inside?  I DO!

That is what the brides-to-be said as well.  The Wedding Salon, put together by 4PM Events, was held at the Beverly Hills Hotel this year.  There were over 75 vendors who brought their businesses to life.

Upon entering the hall, brides-to-be, fiancées, moms and others were greeted and given a ribbon to distinguish who they were.  Smiles were seen all around, as couples from all over town were glowing with happiness.

The table designs and chair dressings, which were paired up with the floral arrangements were breathtaking.  These were presented by LA’s most coveted florists, event designers and registries including Edgar Zamora of Revelry Event Designers.

To accompany the settings, models displayed couture gowns and tuxedos from Marylinn’s Couture Bridal of Pasadena.  Live music accented the atmosphere and set the mood of the event.

As everyone walked around, baby blue HPNOTIQ drinks were passed around as well as samples of cakes of all kinds.  Top cake designers, including Hansens Cakes brought a taste of some choices available for wedding cakes.  Red Velvet, Tiramisu, Chocolate, you name it.  It was truly a treat for those with a sweet tooth.

Bling H20 Bars were set up, showcasing the bottles of water that can be displayed on the tables at the wedding reception.  These bottles brought the bling, with their accents of Swarovski Crystals!  Lattes on Location also brought the wonderful flavor of a beverage to accompany that cake at dessert.

Highlights of the show included an exclusive book signing by celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss.  The book, titled, The Wedding Book: The Big Book For Your Big Day features the ultimate all-in-one planner from the ultimate wedding planner. From start to finish, this book will answer all of your questions.
