Lawrence Davis; Publisher of LA Splash Magazines, Amanda Cortez; Special Features Editor and I attended The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hotel Meet & Greet for journalists at the Four Seasons Hotel Beverly Hills.

Four Season's Los Angeles Entrance
I pulled up to the Four Seasons Hotel and handed my car keys to the valet. As I entered the beautiful hotel and walked under a magnificent glass chandelier, through a lush tropical corridor, I was directed to the outdoor patio. I was there to meet Tony Costa the General Manager of The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hong Kong. Once there, I saw Sarah Robarts, representative of Ballantines PR who welcomed me to the party. Then I caught up with Lawrence and Amanda who where all smiles and Lawrence suggested a mojito as the drink of choice, so I obliged. As I was enjoying the mojito, I noticed the colorful refreshments and treated myself to an assortment of handmade hors d'oeuvres. I listened as Lawrence and Amanda discussed a trip they had taken with fellow journalist, Geoff Edwards until we noticed Tony Costa had a free moment.

Tony Costa, General Manager of The Landmark Mandarin Hotel in Hong Kong
I jumped on this opportunity and literally cornered Tony to interrogate him about The Landmark Mandarin Hotel. I asked him what makes The Landmark different than other hotels? He explained that what makes The Landmark Mandarin Hotel unique is their unwavering hospitality; the fact that they “intuitively understand the guest’s desires.” To prove his point, he let me know that his hotel is ranked #3 out of all the hotels worldwide!
After revealing that I had never been to Hong Kong, Tony said that people expect more from hotels in Hong Kong. At his hotel, they provide personalized hospitality to their guests such as a check-in service in each room. The hotel's restaurant, Amber, is proud to be one of only four two-star Michelin rated restaurants in Hong Kong! Tony emphasized their goal is to place the guest's interest first and foremost. Since this hotel is top of the line, Tony mentioned that many celebrities visit The Landmark.

Past guests include Jackie Chan, the famous Chinese actor and musician and guitarist Carlos Santana, among others. In addition, some perform at the hotel’s bar, MO Bar. Recently, Kelly Clarkson, the world renowned pop artist, entertained guests at the MO Bar presented by Sony Music and Annie Lennox sung for her charity.
Sarah Robarts with Ballantines PR provided information on how this five-star hotel is THE destination in Hong Kong. After hearing and reading about this hotel’s exquisite atmosphere, central location, wellness facility and fine dining I know I would stay there if I was in Hong Kong.
The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hotel is obviously worth experiencing. LA Splash Magazines is looking forward to updating our readers after staying there and exploring all she has to offer.
