PALM SPRINGS – Summer kicked off with the livliest party in Southern California as “Soak In” gave partygoers a day filled with music and partying at the legendary Riviera Resort & Spa.

“Soak In” was put together by Steven Yamin and his Conscience Entertainment Group along with the Fresh Wata Production Company. Judging from the nonstop action poolside and the reaction of everyone in attendance, the party was a huge hit and the only bad part was when the evening came to a close. DJ Casey Connor got the day started and made sure that everyone stayed in the party mode with here fabulous music mixes.

The Riviera provides the perfect setting for a party as the seventy million dollar renovation has really transformed this resort into what will be the centerpiece of Palm Springs for years to come. The Riviera has a long history of being the hot spot for celebrities to visit, dating back to the 1950's and they have kept that classic looking style of that era while combining it with the revamped stunning look.

Tequila Corrido

This seven hour party started off with a bang at 10 a.m. and it never slowed down as the guests who numbered in the hundreds, were dancing in the pool on the deck or living it up in the VIP room.  The Starlight Lounge in the Riviera allowed VIP guests to step out of the heat and enjoy all of the mixed drinks at the bar, ranging from Hypnotiq Vodka and Pama Liqueur to shots of Tequila Corrido.

This event was initially supposed to include a second party that was planned to go late into the evening, but the promoter for that part of the event cancelled at the last minute. A lot of credit must be given to Yamin and Conscience, as he made sure that every guest was taken care of and although the mishap had nothing to do with him, he did a marvelous job making sure that everyone in attendance had a fabulous time.

Hopefully this is just the beginning of the party season at the Riviera as you are not going to find a better place to live it up for the weekend. If you are not in the mood for a party but you just want to enjoy what is one of the truly magnificent destinations in the entire country, the Riviera is the place for you.
