Boasting more than 2,500 vendors and a customer base that includes a roster of Hollywood stars, the Rose Bowl Flea Market has continued to attract serious collectors, bargain hunters and novice shoppers to one of the world's greatest outdoor marketplaces for the past 39 years.  Guaranteed to have something for everyone, vendors come stocked every second Sunday of the month with vintage items, home furnishings, hand-made crafts and collectable pieces.  Thousands flock to the West's best treasure hunt to peruse the wares and negotiate prices, come rain or shine.

Since its early beginnings nearly forty years ago the Rose Bowl Flea Market, with regular customers that visit every second Sunday of the month, first time shoppers might find the experience overwhelming once they enter the gates of thrift shopping and bargain hunting.

The place where you can browse anything you need...

Some celebrities are known to hide behind the sunglasses and hats when they're here, but if you live in L.A., you know that several celebrities are regularly seen shopping for original and vintage items at the Rose Bowl Flea Market.  It's a great place to do some shopping and catch a few star-sightings!  Some known for attending: John Malkovich, Heather Locklear, James Woods, Kirstie Alley etc.

If you've just moved to L.A. but have very little money, it's all the more reason to shop the Flea Market!

So as for me, I moved to Los Angeles one month ago and I really appreciate the fact that I could find some vintage clothes at the Flea Market, that I could not find in France or maybe but more expensive! The trend at the Flea Market is never out of fashion! You can find anything you need to dress or to furnish your home and the prices are inexpensive! As an intern, I can afford it so can you.

Luckily, trends in L.A. lean toward the unique and very often go retro. The Rose Bowl Flea Market's large vintage clothing section has styles that date back to the glamorous 40s, 50s, the funky 70s and, of course, the ever popular 80s.  I think one of the main qualities of the Flea Market is the diversity of things you can purchase.
