Hollywood is known for its glamorous nightlife but when I was introduced to Hollywood’s new playground for the privileged, I was in complete awe. Playhouse, the new nightlife and performance venue lies in the heart of Hollywood acting as the new face of the city’s historic Fox Theatre.

Playhouse

Making its debut on July 9, 2009 the highly anticipated new venue took over Hollywood’s nightlife and has become the place to be every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

Conducted by Muse Lifestyle Group, the Los Angeles-based lifestyle collective, commanded by Rob Vinokur and Elie Samaha have done an incredible pursuit of bringing Vegas style entertainment to Los Angeles.

You can feel the excitement right as you walk in!

Located at 6506 Hollywood Blvd, Muse Lifestyle Group has brought Playhouse to life partnering with the premiere nightlife designers ICRAVEMuse Lifestyle Group and ICRAVE’s over the top vision and design elements has given Playhouse an atmosphere that is merely unforgettable.

Aerialist right before your eyes

Playhouse has been established from a $6 million renovation of the historic Fox Theatre. Playhouse features include 13,000 square feet on three levels, 750 person capacity, four bars, intelligent lighting, and intriguing design elements to keep guests captivated.  Versatile truss-based lighting has been designed by award winning Steve Lieberman of SJ Lighting.  A world-class Funktion One Sound System that is customized to the space by Dan Agne of Sound Investments, which is perfectly suited for both club nights and live music events and performances.

Playhouse

I will never forget my first experience with LA’s first Vegas-Style nightclub. Playhouse has energy that’s exciting and electric. Playhouse’s energy is so contagious that once you’ve been struck by the electric vibes, you will never want to leave.  I understand why this new venue has become the ultimate nightlife destination for Hollywood’s elite.  It’s nothing less than amazing!

Playhouse has attracted many celebrities and sports stars including Gerard Butler, Christina Aguilera, Ryan Seacrest, Bradley Cooper, Lindsay Lohan, Brett Ratner, Samantha Ronson, Paris & Nicky Hilton, Travis Barker, Vanessa Minnillo, Nick and Drew Lachey, Kristin Cavallari, Jared Leto, Brody Jenner, Bow Wow, Nick Cannon and top athletes such as Warren Sapp (NFL Star), Lamar Odom (LA Lakers), Paul Pierce and Sam Cassell of Boston Celtics just to name a few.

Who says you can't bring Vegas to LA?

What attracts the city’s most eclectic crowd to a night at the playground of Playhouse is the staff. Before entering the exclusive doors you have to get through the person New Magazine has named the “Gate Keeper of the Night,” Gilbert Stafford. Stafford then introduces you to a scene with a remarkable array of costume options worn by the staff designed by LA-bases fashion designer, Kelly Nishimoto.  The staff not only acts as your server or bartender, but they act as performers of the night on the trapeze, or an aerialist, or even give a sexy burlesque show as you are getting your first drink! As I was dancing I could watch the aerialist perform right above my head! It was incredible!

She's your server

Playhouse is fun, sexy, entertaining, and nothing like any other venue in Hollywood. This exclusive destination will satisfy your Vegas cravings and bring you the best nightlife satisfaction that you deserve.  My favorite venue, hands down! Playhouse is the premier destination for the ultimate nightlife experience in Los Angeles.  Your night will be filled with pure entertainment and exotic fun.

Weekly programming consists of the following with Curtain Call at 10PM:
