Jerrell Scott 2009 Fall Collection Review - It Was Flawless

Macy Gray

At the One Take Studio,  Jerell Scott's 2009 Fall Collection took place. There were drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Music spun by DJ Svrena and amazing performances from Macy Gray and Sy Smith. His collection was inspired by the colorful and earthy fashions of indigenous people from around the world.

Jerrell’s 2009 Fall Collection:

The light gray dress was made well. It flowed and looked flawless. The gold touch is a little much. I would have liked it better with plain gray straps. Overall I liked it.

The red and white dress is beautiful. I love the settle look on the bottom half of the dress. It is simple and sleek. I like the detail of the straps. It brings fun and color to the piece.

The pink, white and orange dress was not my favorite. The waist piece made it symmetrical and beautiful. I did not like the ruffles, it overwhelmed the dress.

The black, white, yellow and gray dress was way too busy. It has ruffles at the top and a many layered bottom.

The black, white, green and pink dress was okay. I liked the bottom half for being interesting with the many different patterns in the colors of black and white. It adds characteristic. As for the pink and green top… I did not like. It was just too powerful.

Jerrell and his line of clothes

The black and white dress I liked. It flowed and was simple.

The black and silver… I did not like the skirt it looks untidy.

At the end Macy Gray and Sy Smith preformed, they were both great. It ended the evening well.
