Hollywood Prom 2007 - A Night to Remember

In Tinseltown, it is Award Season!  Actors, Actresses, Writers, Producers and anyone who is anybody in the Film Industry have 'industry awards' on their minds. The same mindset, to a certain extent was at Hollywood Prom 2007 last night when guests were in attendance to see who will be awarded the coveted crown of 'Hollywood Prom Queen 2007'.

The Crue, Ryan Cook, Owen/Xavier PR, Niki Shadrow and Hollywood Covered Magazine selected Boulevard3, 6523 West Sunset Blvd Hollywood, California as the venue to have their Hollywood Prom 2007 with Master of Ceremonies Dennis Haskins, best known as Mr. Belding from 'Saved by the Bell'.

When Mr. Belding arrived at Hollywood Prom 2007, in true showbiz form, he was escorted by part of the Prom Court. The ladies were gorgeous, sexy, young and playful as they posed on his arm during their 'red carpet' arrival time. At that time, some of them may have been thinking, 'will I leave with the crown?' While I was glancing at them, my selection just based on looks was the finalist in the red slip dress with silver trim. I knew that my opinion was really of no consequence, since by then the votes had been counted and the queen chosen. 

As with some of Hollywood's Awards, the voting was done via the internet. You had the opportunity to log on to www.hollywoodprom2007.com and cast your vote for your favorite Hollywood Prom 2007 finalist, or you were able to cast your vote on www.myspace.com if you had the information on the finalist in question.

For Hollywood Prom 2007, selected VIP, and industry guests were invited to celebrate their Prom all over again; celebrate the birthday of one of LA's most prominent promoters, Brad Hoss , and to promote the appropriate corporate sponsorships and sponsors in Hollywood Covered Magazine. On the press line, I asked Justin Guarini, from Justin and Kelly and best known as runner-up from 'American Idol' Season 1, 'what he was looking forward to in Hollywood Prom 2007 this evening?' Guarini responded, 'I am here with my girlfriend and I am looking forward in having a good time with her tonight'.

When I asked Erica Rose from The Bachelor, the same question, Rose replied, 'that I am looking forward in seeing who will be crowned Hollywood Prom Queen 2007'. Rose is best known for the inflated opinion of herself during The Bachelor and the continuous wearing of her signature tiara while on the reality show. When I interviewed her on the press line, she was the sweetest person, quite different from the seemingly self-absorbed woman I viewed on The Bachelor.

Hollywood Prom 2007 also featured live music from "The Prom Kings" featured on the MTV show, Twentyfourseven. The evening was themed on a high school prom and featured all the classic elements of a prom including a photo studio area where guests were taking their 'Hollywood Prom 2007' couple photos. The dance floor was buzzing with men in tuxedos, women in ball gowns, and plenty of people texting away on their cell phones. 

Highlights of the evening included Citizen Smith's Urban Bistro which provided gourmet appetizers for the event and complimentary cocktails from 9:00 PM - 10:00 PM and the live musical performances. Lauren Conrad along with other co-stars of MTV's 'The Hills' were present at the event to see if Audrina would be crowned Hollywood Prom Queen.
In true award season style, the winner was dramatically announced near the end of the evening. With the suspense over, congratulations were shared and Angie Cole was crowned Hollywood Prom Queen 2007. Its a wrap.
