LASplash.com: Los Angeles Events Hollywood Covered Magazine Launch Party & Niki Shadrow Birthday Celebration By Jessica King Hollywood, the place where dreams are thought to come true and dreamers flock to make reality of their entertainment fantasies.
The stars of Hollywood and those seeking fame came out to commemorate the launch of Hollywood Covered Magazine and to celebrate fashionista Niki Shadrow's birthday party at the Falcon on Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles in an event hosted by Carrie Zack Events.
Hollywood Covered is a new entertainment magazine published by Pam Gross that attempts to show the entertainment industry through the vision of the movers and shakers within the industry.
The magazine will be available in Los Angeles with no cost to readers. Adam Carolla graces the cover of the premier issue with an article discussing his new radio show on 97.1, taking Howard Stern's empty seat in Los Angeles.
Celebrity attendees included model/stylist/creative entrepeneur Lesa Amoore, Jason Graham, rapper/comedian/producer of Wild n' Out Nick Cannon, and interior designer Bobby Trendy who appeared with Tyler Williams.
Also in attendance: actor Esai Morales, radio personality Wayne Jobson of 103.1 Radio, American Idol's Kimberly Caldwell, Playboy model/actress Dita DeLeon, actress Shirly Brener, actor Russell Joiner, fashion stylist Kimberly Kardashian, and actress/singer Adrienne Frantz.
Once through the red carpet area where celebrities were interviewed and photographed, guests had the option of spending their party time in three separate areas. There was a tented area where sweets and alcoholic beverages were served to guests who spent their time networking or speaking to press. Guests had the option of feasting on either chocolate covered strawberries, key lime cheesecake cupcakes, or delightfully delicious frozen custard cones provided by Lickety Split. Within the restaurant area the dj kept the party live while party goers enjoyed free martinis or their selection of a full bar. There was also an outdoor area with cushions to sit on and a photo booth set up to solidify the nights memories.
Other sponsors included Bobby Trendy designs, Photowow.com and Barrington Flowers who helped to create a posh environment for celebrities and Hollywood wanna-bees.
DJ Dave Curtin rocked the turntables throughout the night, playing a good mix of hip hop, R&B, and pop music. Photos by Jessica King Published Sep 17, 2006 © Copyright 2003-2004 by LA Splash.com |
