What a night! Yours truly was fortunate enough to cover the latest
HSFF Film Industry Night by
Royalty Rope Events, held at
Bar Delux, at
1624 Cahuenga Blvd, the night of June 5th. It is safe to say the night exceeded all expectations.
My lovely assistant,
Andreea, accompanied me to an early arrival and were soon met by the dynamic founding duo of
Royalty Rope Events, Inc.,
Matt Ilczuk and
Sean Dubravac. http://www.RoyaltyRope.com Phone: 310-488-0056
This was followed quickly by an escort and introduction to the co-hosts of the event, the founders of, and
HollyShorts Film Festival’s own,
Theo Dumont and
Daniel Sol.
HollyShorts Film Festival (HSFF) is an annual film festival showcasing the best and brightest filmmakers and their short films from around the globe.
HollyShorts is devoted to the advancement of a wide range of filmmakers through screenings, Q&A sessions, and networking events. The
HollyShorts Film
Festival showcases the top short films produced in 30-minutes or less.
This year’s standouts included
Streak, directed by
Demi Moore, and
Welcome, directed by
Kirsten Dunst. Moore teamed with up-and-coming cinematographer,
Darren Lew to film a slew of famous personalities making pledges of devoted service to President Barack Obama. Directed and produced by
Demi Moore, the video featured
Cameron Diaz, Eva Longoria Parker, Sean “Diddy” Combs, George Lopez, Ashlee Simpson, Courteney Cox, and Dakota Fanning, among many others, and was broadcast on the
Oprah Winfrey Show.
The festival’s popularity is sure to rise and any filmmaker looking to see how your short film fares in a worldwide competition should definitely look into next year’s competition by
HSFF. https://www.withoutabox.com My understanding is that June 5th was the cut off for this year’s entry.
Sorry for the saddening report, but this writer just learned of this.
Royalty Rope Events, Inc., entered the vastly competitive world of
red carpet events and nightclub marketing in the Hollywood arena in 2007. They have deftly and rapidly ascended this particularly precarious stairway-to-heaven to become the premier promotional company, in their field, on the scene today.
Their specialty? so glad you asked. Interweaving high-caliber events and venues, solidifying branding, and bringing juggernaut successes to both. Precisely what the super-engaging dynamos have done repeatedly for numerous Hollywood venues.
Their signature events? An excellent follow up! You are making this so easy for me.
Film Industry Night, Fashion Industry Night, and EUROPA - have all become premier events due to
Matt and
Sean’s ever-increasing expertise.
Numerous additional venues for film festivals, fashion labels, and charities have each been well-served by
Royalty Rope Events, Inc. Their well-organized gleaming events attract the pinnacle of today's
Hollywood A-List powerbrokers, alongside an eclectic group of
film-financiers, artists, actors, agents and super-agents, directors, producers, screenwriters, models, photographers, and filmmakers populate many of Royalty Rope’s events.
They are brought together within a fun, energetic, and accessible atmosphere – hey, that sounds a lot like a party – yeah, a party – if it walks like a duck and quacks like a … well, you get the idea. So, anyway, now that we've agreed these very likable and bright young men throw these incredible parties ;) that
ANYONE would count themselves as fortunate to attend – the idea being to facilitate the making of new acquaintances, friends, and business alliances – and you know what? it works!
An up-and-coming director or producer, let's say, just might befriend someone like
Todd Steiner of Comerica Bank’s Film Financing Department, or
Jeff
Riggs of Citi Group’s Film Financing Department, which wouldn’t be the bummer of all bummers, right?
Or just possibly, maybe, a talented and charming actor could make someone laugh like
Michael Greenwald of the Buchwald Agency, or somehow impress
Nick Reed
of ICM and, who knows? Maybe one of these creative greenlighters could
add a helpful hue of green to their otherwise stagnating careers.
The remote but distinct possibility could arise, wherein, say, a
producer, or agent has just secured the rights to a new project, and
their go-to writer is tied up, and they need a
talented screenwriter,
wink-wink - nod-nod, to pull it all together ;)) and YOU are STANDING RIGHT THERE - will wonders never cease!? You have to admit that would straighten out a pretty rotten day. Or week... Alright, MONTH!
The point is ANYTHING is
possible at a
Royalty Rope, uh, party.
This event was generously sponsored by
KROL Vodka and the drinks were delicious and plentiful. A fresh bottle of KROL was found atop each party’s table alongside three choices of juice, a full bucket of ice, and stacks of clean glasses. Never seen it done quite like that before and thought it, as I am sure did most, brilliant!
The artful art deco styling, with elegant chandeliers and plush furnishings and surroundings, including a roaring fire, an unforgettable stained-glass cityscape, in the most luscious emerald green, that sprawled above and behind the length of the forty-five foot bar is purely sublime. An intricate artwork presenting a dazzling display of an enormous, well-physiqued-man towering above his city and a nearby ever-pesky blimp, steals one’s attention in repetitive fashion, and becomes inexplicably more beautiful the more alcohol is imbibed. Strange that. You can find more details by checking

Everybody seemed to be having a blast. I know we did, and it is all because Sean and Matt fully comprehend the magical chemistry required to pull a stylized event such as this off with panache. The pair is truly in their element while organizing and spearheading this type of social-juggernaut, and if you would like your next super-event to be a super-success, then take my advice and call upon
Matt and Sean of Royalty Rope Events, Inc.
Then sit back and be not amazed when it comes to pass beyond your wildest expectations!
You can reach
Matt or Sean directly as they are available for consultation regarding your next event’s promotion at
