Dog Haus, Pasadena’s newest gourmet American fare restaurant, recently held its grand opening celebration hosting an evening of fun, food and merriment for hundreds.

Dog Haus caters to the connoisseur looking a different take on the 4th of July classic cuisine traditions.

The event which featured an open grill, for an all you can eat and drink party, was a tailgater’s heaven, with burgers, franks, fries and bratwurst for everyone!

Dog Haus, opened for six weeks, caters to the connoisseur looking for a different take on the timeless 4th of July classic cuisine traditions: Gourmet Frankfurters, Bratwurst, Hamburgers, Cole Slaw,  deliciously seasoned French Fries and Tatar Tots.

Dog Haus, offers a cozy, comfortable, cafeteria style atmosphere with elevated picnic style seating and high bar stools. Dog Haus is fun for the entire family and as it is close to Pasadena City College a great getaway for students on the go.

The Little Leaguer: A modern twist on the classic Coney dog!

Distinctive menu choices include The Little Leaguer, a classic Americana combination of chili con carne, Fritos, diced onions and shredded cheddar; The Downtown Dog, a unique pairing of smoked bacon with mayo, mustard, ketchup, sweet sautéed caramelized onions and peppers and El Mariachi, a Mexican twist of fried onion, red bell peppers, pickled jalapenos and melted white American cheese. All Haus Dogs are made with their signature quarter beef, skinless gourmet franks and served on a grilled king Hawaiian bun.

Dog Haus salutes the Hamburger by taking a classic and creating a masterpiece:The Hangover, chili con carne, white American cheese smoked bacon, fried egg and mayo; Holy Aioli with white American cheese, caramelized onions, smoked bacon, mayo, Haus garlic aioli and Hail Maria sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese and mayo all served a delicious lightly grilled soft Hawaiian bun.

The centerpiece to the Dog Haus menu is a western twist on the classic New YorkEgg on a Roll” sandwich. A staple in the Northeast, “Egg on a Roll” has evolved into the soon to be a legend: The Frieburger.

The Frieburger: Delicious and destined to be a legend.

A German import, The Frieburger features a fried egg on a 100% one-third pound Angus Beef hamburger, cheese, coleslaw, fries and the fried egg, piled high on a four corner Hawaiian bun. The combination is delicious and with sliders all the rage it is easy to slice The Frieburger into four equal sections.
