American Music Award After Party Review - Presented By Interscope/ Geffen/ A&M Records

November 23, 2008 – The American Music Awards Interscope, Geffen, A&M Records After Party at Boulevard 3 in Hollywood was the party to be at for anybody who is anybody! With the main event of the night, everybody came out to witness the new electro pop goddess Lady Gaga in action. Performing her songs from her hit record The Fame (in stores now) caused major commotion at the party.

Lady Gaga sure knows how to put on a show with high energy, great talent, and one hell of an attitude! As she performed her internationally known hit single “ Just Dance,” featuring Colby O’ Donis, the crowd went a absolutely wild!

“ Just Dance” has to be 2008’s party song—it’s heard in all the clubs, all over the radio, and ipods everywhere.

Newcomer to Konvict Muzik/ Interscope Records, only 19 year-old, Colby O’ Donis really held his own performing next to the internationally known superstar.

You would never guess that this up and coming artist— Colby O’Donis—is only 19 years of age. Having the opportunity to speak with him before his performance back stage, it is clear that this kid understands the meaning of hard work, determination, and humbleness as he’s been working with platinum producers like Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam, Backstreet Boys and N’Sync since the age of nine.

It’s been buzzed about in Hollywood that O’Donis is “The Future.”

Enrique Iglesias, JC Chasez (Nsync), T-Pain, Tyrese, The Jabbawockeez, Tila Tequila, Jordan Sparks, Will I Am, Omar Benson Miller, Lori Ann Gibson (MTVs Making the Band), Deray Davis, Tim Meyers, McKayla Gordon (American Idol), Bai Ling, and show openers LMFAO were just some of the many who came out to show their support for Lady Gaga and Interscope records.

Lady Gaga with one of her lucky fans

Speaking with the LMFAO, I asked them if they were nervous about opening for such a huge artist. Member Sky Blu answered, “No way, we are hyped and ready to go! It is an honor to open for Lady Gaga and we are hyped!”

Performing their hit single “ I’m In Miami Bitch,” LMFAO pumped up the crowd with their entertaining performance and unique dance moves. LMFAO has a unique “pimpish” style and sound that the audience could not get enough of. These “womanizers” had the ladies hooked!

T-Pain and Orlando Brown came out to support their girl Lady Gaga

Over all, The American Music Award Interscope, Geffen, A&M Records After Party was one of the best parties I’ve been all year. The crowd, the venue, the guest, and the talent made one amazing night for many to remember. Interscope, Geffen, A&M Records definitely know how to throw superstar bash with their incredible, one-of-a-kind artists.

Interscope’s “It girl” Lady Gaga really knows how to entertain her fans with her futuristic look, platinum hair, energetic dancing, and live singing. She will be around for a while providing her fans with many more incredible “stuck-in-my-head” songs I am sure of.
