"Thank Dance It’s Friday" Preview – An Energetic End to the Work Week

The Chicago Loop Alliance encourages Chicagoans to end the workweek with vibrant, outdoor dance concerts. There is a large variety in the programming.

A new five-week dance series titled Thank Dance It’s Friday! (TDIF!) will bring free performances to Chicago’s Pritzker Park on Friday afternoons from Aug. 7–Sept. 4, 2015. Presented by Chicago Loop Alliance (CLA) and hosted by Audience Architects, TDIF!  encourages Chicagoans to end the work week by celebrating with the city’s vibrant dance community. The series will feature three to five diverse Chicago dance companies between the hours of 4-6 p.m. each Friday at Pritzker Park (310 S. State Street).

Thank Dance It’s Friday! is designed to engage a wide range of audiences, making use of Pritzker Park’s unique outdoor location in the Loop. These dancers represent a diverse array of styles—from ballet, contemporary and tap, to Bollywood and more.
