Vanille Patisserie Announces Mother’s Day Contest – Mom, Me and Vanille

It’s time to get ready for Mother’s Day, and what could be more wonderful than a special experience you can share with your mother? Inspired by her own close relationship with her mother, Sophie Evanoff, owner of Vanille, the multiple-location French-style bakery here in Chicago, came up with the idea of a special Mother’s Day contest.

Sophie says of her own bakery “Everything reminds me of my mom. My love of baking comes from my mom. Even though she is not local, I see her everywhere in Vanille. not to mention I did put her photo up in our Lakeview store. She keeps an eye on things there when I’m not there!”

As for the contest, Sophie enthuses, “We wanted something to highlight the importance moms play in all our lives… and of course it’s usually the moms who are bringing in their kids to get macarons, order cakes, etc.  I’ve have seen so many special moments between moms and kids in Vanille that I wanted a fun way to share it with everyone!”

So now she has designed a special contest to emphasize and strengthen the bonds between mother and child, and among friends with a shared experience that allowed the mother and daughter and their special friends to celebrate together.

It’s the “Mom, Me and Vanille” Contest and the prize is a catered Afternoon Tea for Ten people at Vanille’s Lincoln Park Location, 2108 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60614.
